It's such a small place that they really only need one or two people to run it. Their selection is not very extensive, but they did have the small things I needed. So like if you're in the neighborhood and just need to pick up a new pair of hiking socks or a headlamp or something like that, Moose's Tooth should be fine. They also had several clearance racks for clothing. However, if you need something bigger or out of the ordinary, you'd be better off going to an REI or a Cabela's or a Scheel's or whatever you have in your area. Honestly, the biggest turn-off for me was price. I only bought one bag worth of basic hiking gear and it ran me up into the triple-digits. I do need them, and I wasn't able to get to a bigger store, but still. They are a little overpriced.

When I paid the cashier over charged me. Based upon past experiences in this store I had taken a photo of the price tag and showed it to him. He agreed it was on sale but could not give me the sale price. Ill never go back. I was also scammed on the Credit Card deal. Do not fall for the SCORE REWARDS Credit card. Never again

I drove half an hour to the location across town only for them to tell me there was no such hold placed, the shoes I wanted were entirely out of stock and the other store should have called to make sure the shoes I wanted were actually there. When I called the original store, all they said was it was an inventory issue and it wasn't their fault, even though the second location said they should have called. When I mentioned that again, the woman on the phone reiterated that it wasn't their fault and they couldn't do anything at all. They didn't even apologize. It was a waste of my time and I wouldn't recommend any of their locations (despite the fact that the employees at the North 27th location were kinder). Don't make the same mistake I did and just skip this place all together.

I told her I am from California and I did have questions! My main questions were... 1. Do you have any clearance items? Answer... no. 2. What do you have as hat and shirt at lowest costs? Answer... well, she took me to the items I needed. The lady was so nice, very Nebraska like hospitable!!! The store was really clean and full of that Nebraska CornHuskers spirit! She was so helpful, that I bought my first two NCH items, that hat and shirt for the big Nebraska football game this weekend! If anyone needs any Nebraska paraphernalia, this is the place!!!
