Best dive pizza place in the UP. Do not expect some fancy restaurant. This place is back from the our parents time and has the recipe that has made it famous ever since. They have one waitress, less than a dozen or so booths but be ready for some late night knock your taste buds into next week greasy that hit the spot pizza. Started going here in 1995 and thought I found the Holy Grail of pizza that reminded me of my childhood pizza place Dicks Pizza in West Bend Wi. I literally had tears of memories the first time I had Muellers. It was amazing for a while and then something changed and we quit ordering from here. About a year ago we tried it again after a long hiatus. Didn't get tears but let's say I was a little verklempt!!! It was back to the original Muellers I remember and has been consistently fantastic. Quality ingredients in just the right proportion on a cracker thin crust. I don't believe the crust is homemade as it is exactly the same all the time, but it is the perfect thin vessel to deliver this pizza topping perfection to your pie hole !!! Cheese........Amazing, Sausage........the best with a little fennel and I'm assuming most of the flavor comes from the oven!!! Mueller's pizza is very good and has a very unique flavor. I can't put a finger on it. The owners are Greek. Maybe they put some feta in with the mozarella. :) Not sure, but I love it and so many others do too. I always get Mueller's and/or Saloon (in Gladsone) when I'm in town. The restaurant is quaint and clean. There are many good options on the menu. My only complaint is that that fried mushrooms, cauliflower and pizza have been undercooked a few times. Cook them a little longer. It's worth the wait. And please don't put the mushrooms and cauliflower in the same container. I had a friend that liked one not the other and we couldn't tell which was which. read more

I would have given this restaurant a rating of 3 out of 5, until I saw something that shocked everyone at our table. While we were over half way done with the pizza, someone who worked back in the kitchen walked up the basement stairs with the pizza crust. No big deal right? A lot of people don't make their own crusts, it is what it is. As he walked closer to our table since we were sitting right by the cash register and the closest table to the kitchen, we noticed a lot more than pre-made crust. The guy was resting a large stack of the thin crust on his stomach and bare arm for balance, but the kicker here is that the crust was not wrapped in plastic. So this guy is bringing up crust from the basement first of all not covered with anything, and to top it off they were touching his hairy arm and stained t-shirt. If we hadn't already eaten that much of our pizza, I would have gotten the heck out of there and fast. Be careful of reviews that you read. The food might taste okay, and maybe you are a loyal customer and eat there for a reason that is more nostalgic than the food being good, but cleanliness is number one in a restaurant even before taste of food. This is one restaurant that I can say without a dough, that I will never be back to. read more

The pizza crust is definitely different from what I am used to eating with pizza. It was very thin and crispy, with almost a matzo taste to it. It was good though.
