When I went up to the register to ask them to pull that piece of furniture I also asked to use the restroom at which point I was told I would need to exit the store and go a block down, ON MY WALKER, to another store (a meat market), that I had zero plans to purchase from. So I was told to take my walker down to the meat market to pee, not purchase anything and then come back to them to buy furniture from them...um nope!!! They got to keep their furniture and I got in my car and went to my next location where I bought several items after I used their bathroom without them complaining about it (while I was in the restroom the staff at the next place even hunted down specific pieces for me to look at - the difference in the customer service was amazing). My husband and I spend several hundred a weekend at antique stores without counting random furniture pieces (could be $500-$1,000 for those pieces) and we return to our favorites on the regular...this place never again!

Owner of the shop brought me "the shirt" and I tried the outfit on. Owner kept telling me how cute the outfit was but I wanted to look in a mirror. She nor her help could find their full length mirror. They even blamed another worker for moving it, but of course she was off today. After being told numerous times how cute the outfit was, I splurged the $65 and went home. I tried on the outfit in front of my full length mirror and immediately knew it wasn't for me. I took the items back immediately only to find that she would only give me a store credit that I must use in 60 days. I explained my frustration over the mirror issues. She then told me I could have looked in any of the many mirrors they have. The numerous small ones with lots of merchandise in front of them. I mentioned the full length mirror and she told me they have one. I said yes but you couldn't find it. She told me if I had insisted they could have figured something out. As if it isn't enough to be blamed for the merchant not having an appropriate mirror, she then informed me that she was deducting the credit card fee from my store credit. She stated "I am not going to eat that." So my bank account is $65 lighter, I have no merchandise, and she is concerned about eating a $3 fee. I have no choice but to return sometime within the next 6 months in order to try to use my credit, otherwise I wouldn't step foot in there again. Oh, and don't be late! She assured me they wouldn't honor the credit a day passed 6 months. Buyer be ware!

I purchased a 1935 Connecticut Commemorative Half Dollar for $200 from this store with a bit too…read moremuch trust... the gentleman working the counter was pushing the notion of the coin being of an exceptional grade, which would prompt a significant price jump if graded by a professional grading service- I didn't have a jeweler's loupe with me and my eyes aren't quite trained on grading, so I trusted his judgement. After purchasing and having a local coin dealer authenticate it, they stated that it has irrefutable evidence of the coin being cleaned, which certainly affects the value of the coin. He offered me $100 to take it off my hands. Either this individual has no idea what he's doing, or he is completely cognizant and a slimy salesman. I doubt I'll return to the store under any circumstance.
