Beautiful farm with all kinds of charm. Tucked away off the paved path- Heads up- gravel roads. Ha. Proceed with caution on lots of cars zipping by not willing to share the road. Whoa nelly! Once you reach the farm it is quite a lovely little oasis. A tiny patch of lavender was left for lavender lovers to enjoy. Lots of sounds and sights- there was a mule in the distance welcoming all the guests. I parked on a patch of grass and made my way to the garden area where there were Lots of plants for sale. I saw some baskets and instructions on how to cut your lavender. I grabbed one and decided to look around before heading toward the lavender field. They have a gift shop, a cafe with outside seating and shade, birds and other animals just waiting to say hello. Lots of goodies in the gift shop, oils, sprays, candles, clothing. Nice variety. The helpers were friendly enough. Didn't see super enthusiastic- kind of aloof. Nice day and wonderful place for a stop in.

This was a fun day adventure with my girlfriend! It's about an hours drive from Dallas area. I love all things lavender so this was the perfect spot. We came too late to enjoy the cafe but they had some leftovers that they refrigerated and so we got to taste some of those! The farm is beautiful and you can pick your own lavender. They have a lavender shop that has some of the best products! My friend and I both took home lavender plants after the nice gentleman educated us on them. Would love to come back again!

This place is most definitely "a jewel in the countryside!" Everything about Lavender Ridge is worth the trip getting there! The Lavender cheese cake is to die for too!

Absolutely loved our visit to Lavender Ridge farms! The Cafe has a great menu - I got the salad trio so I could try their signature potato salad, chicken salad and lavender vinaigrette! We also tried their lavender lemonade & iced tea - delicious! We walked around the butterfly garden, birds & lemur areas and had a blast interacting with the goats, donkeys and geese. Such a cute little farm. Make sure to stop in the gift shop and plant shop for your own lavender plant and/or products! I stocked up on room spray, all natural lavender hand sanitizer and bubble bath! Awesome little day trip for farm, lavender & plant lovers!

This way-out-of-the-way spot is a wonderful place to slow down, smell some amazing lavender-scented products, and even see a few animals one doesn't normally see. The cooking spices will make anything you cook with them, even better. Always enjoy seeing them at festivals but so glad I finally made it to the farm.

A very cute little place - felt like an oasis! The cafe is a lovely spot for lunch (with lots of lavender speciality dishes) and the food is pretty good and very well priced. I'd recommend the lavender lemonade and lavender ice cream! It was a nice 2 hour stop and a lot of fun, but there isn't loads to do when it isn't lavender picking season so go in mind that it'll be no more than a 2 hour visit with lunch! It was easy to socially distance, but they don't require masks which was a bit concerning, especially as they let people into their store without masks!

This is a charming little spot that requires a good GPS. It's got a great cafe and rescued lemurs. We had an amazing waiter and excellent food. The brownie was yummy as well.

Lavender Cafe! Try the Lavender Lemonade! Oh...and the chocolate pie!

I remember visiting my grandparents house as a child. It was filled with beautiful gardens and we could play outside all day with only our imaginations as the rule book. Lavender Ridge Farms provokes the nostalgia of a simpler carefree time when all that mattered was that exact moment, the smell of flowers in bloom, and the comfort of good food. I love the rustic and whimsical decor, the multiple colored umbrellas that adorn the generous outdoor tables nestled under a canopy of trees. The menu offers a nice variety of choices, including some pretty tasty vegan options. I find comfort in the chili and chicken salad sandwich. And their chocolate pie would even please Grandma! It is delicious. After lunch, it is easy to unload your burdens with a romp through the gardens where you will find the child-like energy to chase butterflies and hide among the always blooming bushes and flowers. It is the perfect spot for a romantic picnic. Of course, I can never visit without purchasing a few plants, or goodies from the Lavender gift shop! I love the lavender soap for that warm soak that is always needed later when my body reminds me that I am not a kid running around in Grandma's garden...at least not until my next visit to Lavender Ridge when I can relax, enjoy a nice glass of Lavender Lemondade, take in the sweet smell of Lavender fields, and just imagine... Thank you for a wonderfully delightful respite from the world and a cozy spot to enjoy a nice lunch and that amazing Lavender Lemonade!

This tucked away farm was great! Enjoyed beautiful lavendar ice tea and lunch, and then explored the grounds a bit before I left with awesome goodies! It's small, but it's a nice spot to visit. Also social distancing is really easy to do here!

Not in bloom until May or June for lavender but the bloom for iris is in April will definitely try to make a trip back here. Was beautiful and the Cafe was delicious. Lots of vegan options and everything was so fresh!

Had a great afternoon here with my sister. Lunch was wonderful and everyone was so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend checking out. Fun for the whole family.

    Pretty plant

Found mention of this place on the Roadtrippers app, so glad I pulled off the highway. Was making a long trip from NC to OR and got such adorable gifts here for friends and family. It was a great place to stretch my legs, get outside, and experience something fun and local. Highly recommend!

Lavender-infused iced tea in the cafe -- refreshing on a hot summer day!!

The consult was good and we were provided an offer for a couple of services, thoroughly clear an existing flowerbed, remove a tree and soil injections for 2 other trees. Initial offer seemed rather high but then the consultant called the general manager to get us a discount given we would be coming back to replace plants in the flower bed. I had to call and remind the consultant 2 times to schedule the soil injection service as they never reached out to me. The tree removal was okay but they didn't remove the entire stump even though we told them we were going to put grass over the area. Then we made an appointment to meet our consultant to design our new flowerbed bed. First appointment he wasn't there so we spent time with the GM and we discussed what we liked and didn't like which she would relay to our consultant. So a week later we went again to meet the consultant and he had NOT been informed of anything we discussed with the GM, so we had to go through the whole process again. Ultimately picked out the plants and got a design layout. Agreed a date and time for them to come and plant it all. Long story short, some of the plants were damaged (a very expensive whale tail agave) and some of what we chose in the nursery turned out to be shorter when they were delivered. Oh and again we were told we got a manager special pricing....hhmm should have been a warning sign. After the work they ask for feedback where I made all issues known and I was told someone would be reaching out. That was 2 months ago!! I even texted the same number again. No response. Basically, whilst the products and free stuff they give you is all great. There is a lot to be said about the aftercare and customer service. I will definitely be thinking twice before spending my hard earned money at Moon Nurseries.

I've worked with landscapers before and usually you get a lot of talk and not a lot of follow through. This was different. They gave us a few design options, walked us through everything, and actually communicated throughout the whole project which was huge for me. What really stood out was the quality of the work. We've paid for "premium" service in the past and never really felt like we got it. With Blooming Colors, you can tell they care. The details, the cleanup, the way everything came together, it just felt right. Now our backyard is a place we actually want to spend time in again, which I didn't think I'd say a few months ago. We'll be using them going forward for both our home and our rental properties here in Southlake. No question.

I walked into Blooming Colors Nursery on Saturday, ready to spend money and left Wednesday…read morewondering how $500 trees come with $0 worth of integrity (for context, similar Japanese maples run about $115 at Home Depot). Here's the story... Before purchasing, I made it crystal clear I needed HOA approval (as an "exception" because it's not on our approved landscaping list). On that lovely Saturday, the very helpful sales associate, Olivia, confidently assured me I'd get a full refund if the HOA didn't approve. No mention of store credit. No caveats. That promise (and my love for those two trees) was the only reason I agreed to move forward and let them hold the trees on my card. HOA said no. I came back expecting a simple resolution... and instead got a full rewrite of reality. Olivia wasn't there, and the staff immediately insisted there was "no way she would've said that." One employee chimed in, "I trained her myself," followed by questions about whether I "saw all the no-refund signs." The manager doubled down with, "I really don't believe she said that." All of this--despite having a witness that was standing next to me who heard the entire conversation. Let's call it what it was: not confusion... gaslighting. After things escalated, the owner came out, seemingly only after I mentioned disputing the charge. She agree to refund me--but not before trying to shush me, telling me to "be quiet or wait outside," and saying, "I'll refund your money and you can go buy your trees elsewhere." Nothing says "family business values" quite like dismissing a paying customer on the way out. The trees were beautiful, no doubt--but their integrity and respect wilted faster than a Texas agave in August. If you shop here, get everything in writing... because their word clearly doesn't take root. Better yet, don't.
