Dirty, slow and overrated- I'm not sure how this place has a good reputation. It's easily the dirtiest barber shop I've ever seen. The wait is always long and the haircuts are below average- they don't even brush the cut hair off of you when they finish. I think they are getting by on nostalgia because this place sucks. read more

Pretty simple concept, walk-in (only), first-come first-serve. No check-in, just grab a seat across from the barbers and look to see who came before you. Your typical old school barber shop. I've passed by this place many times. Not very many places post Covid that you can't just walk into without an appointment. Cash or check only. And the only place I've seen that sells their own Swag. Coozies, shirt or sweater. Everyone seems to know everyone. This place has been here for a bit. Price is on par with other barber shops. I've had my haircut here since the 1970's and it's an institution in Chagrin Falls. Lots of conversation if you like that. Dutch and the guys are interesting and they get interested in you! Best of all, I know what to expect when Dutch is finished, just the way I like it. That also counts when I get home and the boss reviews the haircut. Took my sons in for their first barber shop experience. Really great haircuts and they loved it! On the way out, one said he wanted to come back tomorrow.
