I explained to him what the car was doing, that I did some research and it sounds like a phantom drain on the battery, told him that I unplugged the (-) term for 1/2 hour and was only reading 8.12vDC. So, I guess he recognized that we spoke the same language, he made a very prompt diagnosis and proved it to be correct quickly. He advised I go to Autozone and have the battery analyzed and guess what... bad battery! Dude was right again. He also advised that I had 1 week to have the vehicle "serviced". Now, I'm a Service Technician myself in a separate trade, but I recognize what he is saying. Essentially, someone who specializes in the extremely broad area which happens to cover your car also needs to use their skills to address the situation. They have the tools and training, you don't. It's my son's car so he will have to take it from here. Lol! In summary, so far the dude made 2 calls that were accurate, so I'm banking the one week warning I got was also a "heads-up " you don't always get. So yeah, got nothing bad to say about this cat.
