Within seconds, I received a text message from them, and minutes later they phoned me. I was able to get a same day appointment and made the drive from Jersey to Queens. Almost right at 2pm on the dot, a technician named Lisa called my name and led me into a room and began to take multiple pictures of my eyes. She was personable and efficient. I saw Doctor Feistmann a little while later. He was very thorough with explaining my issues, and recommended a procedure that was performed in the office. He even gave me one of his seltzers, that he most likely brought from home. I highly recommended this place, even if it's a bit difficult to get to I have a follow-up with him and I'm looking forward to it.

I couldn't look up doctor reviews on the Cigna website so I looked up Dr. Pilavas on Zocdoc. Making reservation was a breeze and Dr. Pilavas actually gave me a phone call to confirm my appointment. I went the week of 6/1, when the office is still closed for non-emergency visits. My condition didn't really call for urgent checkup, but I was lucky to have my appointment set right away. Once I was at the office, there was around an hour wait. However, the doctor was considerate and explained that he has been busy tending to other patients who needed immediate care. Dr. Pilavas was friendly and gently explained to me what's going on with my eye. It turns out the condition is nothing to worry about and I am glad that I visited Dr. Pilavas. With my Cigna open access insurance I had to pay $45 for the copay. It was quite a pleasant experience so I'd recommend Dr. Pilavas for anyone looking for eye care.

Dr. Park has always been incredibly patient and thorough with the eye exam, and the cherry on top is that his office staff are both friendly and efficient and are among the best I have dealt with in health services. During my last exam, Dr. Park gave me the option of increasing my prescription by a smidge when I said I hadn't been seeing as clearly, and he ordered sample contacts for me. Once I tried out the contacts and realized the prescription was too strong, I called the office and Dr. Park was able to review my notes and revise my prescription without a follow-up visit. He was recommended by my primary care physician, as my previous eye doctor had moved his office. I was very nervous going there, as I don't like having my pupils dilated, and I had been having some vision problems as of late. The staff was friendly, warm and welcoming. The receptionist greeted me by telling me how nice it was to meet me after we had spoken several times on the phone. She made me feel more at ease. The technician led me to the exam room, and was polite and professional as he took my information and medical history. They even take a photo via the computer to add to your file! Dr, Kruh was one of the nicest doctors I have ever met. He introduced himself when he walked in the room, took the time to talk to me and asked me about any current issues I was experiencing with my eyes, and I felt more relaxed and not rushed. I subsequently verbally beat myself up about not staying on top of my vision problems, as I had been busy with other issues, and he advised me that I should just focus on making better choices moving forward, now that I was sitting there. I mentioned that I was nervous, and he reassured me that there was no need to worry. Dr. Kruh was very thorough with the exam. He performed some diagnostic procedures, with different types of lights, that I had never had done before. When I was not opening my eyes wide enough, he gently held my eyes open so that he could view everything he needed to, to make an accurate diagnosis. And when he dilated my pupils, I was more at ease, so it was not as bad as I had recalled. When all was said and done, he took the time to explain the results of the tests, provided me with a new prescription for glasses, and gave me some sample eye drops. I had mentioned that I am on the computer many hours during the day, and he told me that people will often not blink enough when they are looking at a computer, and your eyes get dry. He suggested I keep a bottle on my desk at work. I will no longer be neglecting my eyes in the future. Dr. Khuh and Comprehensive Ophthalmology have taken away my apprehension of going for my annual eye exam. I highly highly highly recommend Dr. Kruh and Comprehensive Ophthalmology to anyone who is looking for an eye doctor. They are the best!
