I also didn't receive the full exam that I paid for (eye dilation) just the refraction test that should have been free with my vision insurance. Safe to say I won't be going back. The procedure was performed multiple times by Dr.Michael Ehrenhaus. Why a transplant needed to be done multiple times was due to constant rejections and failures. I was 14 when these series of operations started-a globe reconstruction, reconstruction of my pupil, cornea transplant, and a glaucoma tube implant- either done or referred to by the mediocre surgeon. I say this as while under the age of 18, i declined medical treatment and he convinced my parents to proceed regardless of how I felt. The repeated rejections, follow up appointments, and corrective surgeries of complications due to operations Ehrenhaus insisted on. I was told my eye's vision would never recover or be the same, i made the decision early on to stabilize my eye so that it wouldn't rot out of my head, but Ehrenhaus was greedy and treated me like a test dummy. All effort failed and led to life long health complications. I am writing this now to advocate for those who tell this man no and have it fall on deaf ears, especially as he is the reason I cannot work due to poor physical constitution as an effect of his operations.

Keeping his back to me for the first ten minutes while he was playing with his slides or something, eventually graced lil 'ole me with his majestic presence. The desire to bow while I attentively and fully engrossed myself in his brilliance. This amounted to charging me $175.00 to give me an inconclusive prognosis and inform me that he'll not treat me --- total time spent with me --- thirteen minutes. Followed by giving me the up and down full body look he gave me after informing his Majesty that I can afford the best treatment money could buy. I can, and if its a question of loosing my vision or pursuing top notch care -- I'll take door number two Monte. To his all female staffers: you are a fine bunch, all of which treated me with kindness and dignity. Just hope your able to endure probably the biggest jack as* I've ever had the displeasure to interact with.

I was referred to this office by one of my co-workers…read more. My appt was at 8am, I was there 15 min before my appt, to fill out my paperwork... I was seen shortly after. His front desk staff is very nice, as is his assistant. Dr. Menger was professional and listened to all of my concerns. I didn't feel rushed or anything. He took his time and did all necessary tests on me to determine if there was anything wrong with my right eye. He was kind & patient with me, he explained all the conditions that may be going on with my eye, before & after all testing. Definitely recommend.

Alexander Hatsis botched up my left eye surgery. There were huge chunks of debris remaining in the…read moreeye after the surgery and the haptic was not totally in the sac (i.e the lens was not placed correctly in the eye). When I went to this doctor for follow up, he told me that the debris would go away but such huge chunks could not, I confirmed with another doctor. As a result I had to go to another surgeon who did vitrectomy and placed the haptic in the sac (i.e correctly placed the lens in the eye). Surprising thing is that when the second doctor called Hatsis and said told him that haptic was not in the sac, Hatsis told him that was OK. This is shocking. I would not recommend Hatsis to anyone.

I am so grateful for them taking me in I had an infection. When I walked in the office they greeted with happy cheerful smiles and everyone was so nice and happy, the doctor was on another level of greatness. I took my whole family for an exam the next week. What's more amazing is my mom doesn't speak English and they didn't get annoyed with her they took time to find glasses for her, worked with her and made her feel comfortable. My mom left there so happy and said she she felt like at home. Thank you everyone I will be sending all my family and friends there!!!!
