Not sure what my license plate has to do with an estimate since I gave her the make and model of my vehicle. Will knowing the license plate suddenly make the job more difficult? Then immediately went "send me the information, I gotta go I have customers here." Overall not a good impression for someone that's a first time customer. That lady either needs some help with the workload at the front desk, or needs customer service training.

I left my car with them for like two weeks and when I got her back she was in better shape then ever before. The front bumper on my car was also all duct taped up from hitting the curb one too many times. They fixed that up for me no extra charge. Well, Mike repaired it so quickly and gave us as good a deal as possible when repairing the AC. He explained everything & so easy to do business with. Then,unfortunately for us, the next week we had a major engine prob/failure w/the lifters that were part of the the flex fuel system. We read that people who replaced the lifters only had them fail again in a few months. Mike gave us an alternative solution- redesign engine so it works w/out the flex fuel system. It took a bit of time & when we first got it back ac wasn't working again, but Mike stood behind his work and figured out the prob & got the ac working again, as well as the engine. We really needed to keep this vehicle running & Mike has done that for us. We couldn't be more pleased. Love the friendly, honest, quality service we received!!! The store closes at 3:30pm and me and him left at the same time around 3pm. I don't know maybe I was his last client of the day. Still have the same problem rear brakes are still bad and it almost seems like no work was done. Didn't show me the new parts that he got for the car nor did he show me the bad or old parts. I got recommended to come here and I don't know there haven't been any more recent reviews since this one I guess.

Took my 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 here initially looking for just an oil change and tire rotation. Upon my own consideration and talking with the crew- got a 100,000 mile makeover done, transmission pan drop and top off, oil, brakes, rotors, diff fluid, brake fluid, and a handful of odds and ends. Quoted me HALF of what the dealership wanted, made useful (but not pushy) suggestions, and ultimately left me in charge, not trying to upsell me whatsoever. Got it all done in 2 days as I was on a time crunch and couldn't be without a car long for work. I will absolutely be returning.

I have been going to Ward because they are close by and have high ratings, but after 2024 I will not be going back and I do not recommend anyone else give them their business. I took my car in to have 4 new tires put on back around September, which Ward did. However shortly after this I began to notice a rumbling/helicopter-like sound coming from under my car. I brought it back to them, they put it up on the lift and determined I needed a new front right tire rod. We replaced this for $500, immediately after I left the shop I noticed the noise even louder than before. I called them right back and explained that the issue was still there, the guy said he couldn't hear anything when he took it for a test, so I brought it back the next day and he said he could hear it now. They put it back on the lift, and told me it was my rear control arm causing the wobbling. This was after $800 on tires and $500 on the tire rod, Bob said they'd work with me to fix the control arm. When they got back to me with a quote it was almost double what they originally estimated. Bob Ward assured me that the wobbling was not a safety issue, and not an immediate repair. I had concerns because Christmas was around the corner and we would be traveling. They said it would be OK, it was safe to drive, and we could fix it after the holidays. On Christmas Eve as I'm driving my family to my mother's for dinner, my rear passenger tire came off -while we were driving-. It sheared clean off and rolled down the road, thankfully we were not on the highway and I was able to quickly pull over or it would have been a disaster. The tire rolled all the way down the street, thankfully no pedestrians were out at the time and oncoming traffic was able to avoid it. I had my girlfriend and child in the car at the time. I immediately called Ward and left an understandably angry voice mail. We called AAA who towed the car to a family members house who is also a mechanic. Both the AAA tech and my mechanic said they've never seen anything like this, and the only way for it to have happened was for the lugnuts to have been insanely overtorked when my tire was put on. When Ward called me back the day after Christmas to talk about what happened it seemed like the whole thing was an inconvenience for them. Bob didn't take any responsibility, tried to play it off even though they are the only ones to touch this car. When I started mentioning how he put my family and child in danger he rose his voice and said "Will you shut the **** up?!" ....Now I don't know if Bob is just losing it with old age or something, but when your business almost injures a family and the customer calls upset, you don't curse them out. Common sense. My mechanic fixed the whole issue for 150 bucks while Ward was happy continually having me come back in for work that not only did not solve my problem, but caused it. Update: they take no responsibility for any of this despite being my only mechanic for years, but did offer a whopping $150 to cover my mechanic fixing it in "good faith" that I declined.

However, during the visit she was told that her Ford Focus required a replacement coolant reservoir. Midas charged $119.00 for the coolant reservoir and $30.00 for labor. After the visit, we researched the part pricing independently and found the same coolant reservoir available online for under $50, with multiple reputable listings--some as low as $17.99. The part number is 603-382. When we contacted the store to discuss the significant price discrepancy, we were told that Midas has no control over part pricing and that the lower-priced parts we found must have been "from China." No effort was made to explain the markup, offer a comparison, or provide any resolution. Given the substantial difference between the price charged and readily available market pricing--and the dismissive response when concerns were raised--we were very disappointed with the experience. As a result, we will not be returning to Midas nor recommending this location to others.

By the way the key fob still doesn't work the check engine light is still on as well as other indicators that they caused. I had a 2013 with 159000 miles on it I had a mechanic tell me the truck was in good condition. After taking it to Charlie's I had to pay it off and get rid of it they messed my truck up and kept acting like they were fixing it but in reality they were causing more issues this is a horrible auto shop and if you want stress and headaches along with empty promises lies and unskilled mechanics breaking things that were not broken and unable to fix the issues this is the best place for you!!! oh I almost forgot and charging fees for their disgusting horrible service!
