Very disappointing. They are not the quality company they used to be when they worked to obtain and keep loyal customers. There is so much business they no longer have to admit and fix issues when their installation teams do a poor job or their internal processes don't work. Time between purchase and installation is well beyond promised and the product and installation is wrought with problems, then call it warranty work. Next time I will hire a BBB accredited company to have a way to obtain adequate compensation and resolution for poor performance. There are other quality choices locally. read more

There is something seriously wrong with mullets aluminum. Last year I called to get a quote on installing sliding glass doors in my lanai, and got jerked around. Nobody came... no quote. I figured maybe they were swamped because of hurricane Ian. A year later, I called again and they told me they would have a different estimator give me a call. Weeks later, never heard from them. I'm done with Mullets Aluminum. Horrible. They will more than likely go out of business with this type of behavior. read more

We had a new metal roof replaced a few years ago and with hurricane Ian came through it blew off a few pieces of the soffit and noticed some roof rot on the two by fours. Calling and sending pictures they came out and fixed this issue letting us have an ease of comfort. read more

I had 15 windows installed and Mullet's did a terrific job. They were price competitive, highly professional and didn't damage anything or leave a mess. We recently had PGT hurricane windows put into our house. Actually, Mullet's finished the job and it was inspected by the county two weeks before IRMA! I cannot tell you how safe we felt and how quiet it was. We lost electricity around 8:00pm Sunday night. We went to bed and never heard the wind! It was amazing and restful! We woke up to birds singing and sun shining. The windows also helped to insulate the house so we never were too hot and fortunately got power back on Monday. Keith, my sales associate explained all the questions I had about different window types and was never pressuring me into buying something I did not need. As I had gotten 5 bids before Mullet's, I found that refreshing. I feel confident my money was invested into my home wisely. A word about the installation - Geoff and Nate (the dynamic duo - my Superheros) arrived early Monday morning and were done by Thursday afternoon. They were so respectful of my home and of me, I wanted to adopt them! It also gave me a sense of security knowing that they were Mullett's employees. I felt comfortable leaving my home on errands and having them lock up the house. Geoff would leave me a note about the progress and what was planned for the next day. They custom made a 6x6 large downspout. The gutter oak leaves were always clogged up and I was tired of getting on the roof to clean it out. They enlarged the gutter opening so now the leaves get washed straight down and out. Giving it a 4 because 1st measurement was wrong. They came out with a shorter downspout and had to redo in the shop so required another day of installation. read more

My family contracted this company back in June 2015 to do a 14' x 36' partially covered lanai. It seems that there have been many issues since the concrete pad just got completed in mid-November. They have never provided an update on the project, this means my family has had to call for an update every time. Most of the time we call they always say they will call back, and never do or they stayed that no one is in the office. We are becoming suspicious that they are potentially discriminating against women and or people of color. The reason I'm becoming suspicious of this is that we have a Hispanic last name and the last time we called the office the receptionist or scheduler said that we were " being yucky". The lack of customer service and concern for their customers is absolutely disgusting. I would never recommend going to this location for any job big or small since you will never receive an update about your project. The experience with this extremely unprofessional company is disgusting. Save yourself the hassle and six months of your life and find a different contractor to work with. read more

Our small apartment complex in Sarasota had old fashioned jalousie windows and doors which no longer met code. We replaced the doors a couple of years ago. Mullet was able to find a Windsert door which met hurricane standards and provided a screen that allowed air circulation. They completed that job and now the apartments are quiet and energy efficient. The product was on the west coast and they were able to locate the manufacturer and order them for our beach property. Just this week they finished install the window installation. I highly recommend Mullet! Nate our sales representative was very helpful and accessible.
