I found my Physical Therapy at Sports and Back Rehabilitation in Langhorne, PA one of the most pleasant, and successful, medical experiences I've ever had. Sports and Back Rehabilitation was referred to me by a prior physical therapist I trusted. It was an excellent referral. The facility is close to home, and parking is ample. The receptionists were always friendly and efficient. Scheduling and copays were always clear and easy to understand, even across multiple months of therapy visits. The facility is clean, with a variety of exercise machines and PT equipment in good repair, and the PT support staff were excellent, professional, and courteous. The environment was upbeat and fun, with music and friendly chatter among the staff and other patients. There were days I had scheduling mix-ups and cancellations, and this was always handled with friendliness and flexibility, which was much appreciated. During intake, I worked with both owners, who were friendly, hands-on, and professional. I expressed that I preferred a more hands-on approach to PT in my intake. I had some poor experiences with other PT offices and a hands-off approach ("Here's a list of exercises, I'll be back in 45 minutes to check on you). Both owners expressed that Sports and Back Rehab would be more engaged in each session, and they followed through on their promises. Both owners worked with me personally across the weeks of therapy. One or both of the owners, each doctors of Physical Therapy, were present during each of my visits. I benefited from them listening to my preference and following through each week, as well as the regular progress made through a customized PT exercise plan with frequent hands-on stretches, joint manipulations, and progress measurements. Having my progress in knee flexibility regularly measured by the goniometer https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goniometer aided my motivation to return my knee to better functioning. The owners also offer innovative options for ongoing wellness, such as a fitness and exercise program, stretching classes, and other options to stay involved after ending prescribed treatment. Most importantly, I had excellent results and success with Sports and Back Rehab! * My left knee is now pain-free with measurably increased flexibility and stability * I can walk for extended time without fear of pain; * I can now kneel down easily for long periods; * I can ride a bicycle again. These are all activities I could not perform when I started at S&B! I also continue to do the exercises I learned at S&B each week, and even got Mrs. F, my wife, involved as well. I avoided more complex knee treatments and even surgery through the excellent care provided by Sports and Back Rehab. I made significant progress that impacts my daily life and activities, and had a good time with great people. I can't think of better outcomes from a physical therapy regimen, and I recommend Sports and Back Rehab for anyone who needs best practices and outcomes from physical therapy.

I took a picture of my name and where it was located in the cue.It showed 5 people who's names were crossed out who came in after me While I was doing my exercises, another woman went to the owner quietly and asked why he was being rude to her He loudly belittled her and never apologized . I simply walked out of the building and called the desk and canceled all my sessions I am very disappointed. I tried to put up with this rudeness for several months. Many of the people I met there stopped going there for the same reason The office staff and the other therapists were very nice

I was a patient of Marco recently for vestibular therapy. He was excellent and I was very impressed…read morewith the treatment I received. He was very professional and addressed my specific issues. He explained everything in detail and stayed with me throughout the entire sessions. It was very reassuring that he focused his attention on me and he listened carefully to my comments, concerns and questions. The session wasn't rushed and he was a good listener. I am happy to report that in a short period of time my symptoms completely resolved. The staff was also very friendly and flexible with regard to scheduling.

Imagine, if you will, that Dr. Soon Jung of SEPA Pain & Spine asked me, a mason, to build a brick…read morewall. My first task is to dump a ton of bricks at the work site, which I do, but directly on top of my client. I heard his screams clearly, but my focus was on doing my job. Undeterred by his agony, I commenced building the wall, brick by brick. Eventually, I uncovered Dr. Jung's battered and crushed body, and he is in severe pain. Fortunately, Dr. Jung recovers fully, with maybe a touch of PTSD. The wall I built was strong and straight, level and plumb, and met all the building codes and customer's specifications. But for some reason, Dr. Jung now seems more than annoyed at all the pain I caused in the process of flawlessly doing my job. The analogy is perfect: although Dr. Jung's procedure on me worked, temporary though it may be, the procedure itself hit an 11 on my Scream-O-Meter. No true physician would permit this, but would immediately stop and apologize if it happened by accident. If the job of a physician is to minimize pain, Mr. Soon Jung is no physician. Final note: General anesthesia has been used in medicine since the mid-19th century. Not using it, here in the 21st century, on a patient with no specific contraindications, is truly barbaric.

Been using Dr. Tom for about 3 years now on and off. sometimes when I encounter an issue like back…read morespasm, or shoulder pain, and at other times just to get adjusted for maintenance purposes. Every single time Dr. Tom has either immediately made my condition better or contributed to it getting better with several more appointments that were needed. I have recommend Dr. Tom to many people mainly due to his expertise. Dr. Tom is not only a very good practitioner with great table side manner, but he is also an athlete who lifts weights. This fact alone provides a tremendous amount of value to his patients since he is not only about the theory of movement, but had first person experience with working out, possibly injuries (I never really asked him about his own injuries) and how to move to 1) not make any injuries worse and 2) different movements outside your visits with him to cure those injuries. Has has given me many stretches and other advice to avoid some of my recurring issues. For example I currently "aggravated" one of the disks in my lower back after being a yahoo with some dead-lifts. When I came to see Dr. Tom today, he took the time to explain what exercises I should keep away from for a little bit and what I should explain to my trainers (I take group classes) so that they can help me modify my movements. He did so with the complete understanding of the "how" and the "why" from his own experiences, not just from a book. I believe Dr. Tom treats a lot of athletes (both causal and serious) due to his direct experience in being an athlete. Finally, his office is equipped with many tools, from lasers, to x-ray machines, to decompression machines to foot/gait measurements. Oh yea, 3 years ago he assessed my stance, issued me orthotics (by the way, at 1/2 the price of customs I previously has) and corrected my issues. Yes, he does that too!! I cannot recommend Dr Tom highly enough for many physical conditions that need correction and pain relief. You can thank me once you go there :)
