We walked the boardwalk first and then down the main street that had all the clothing shops everywhere. None of the store associates were friendly, engaging, or offering any assistance as they remained standoffish and stayed well away from approaching customers. We were at JPV on a weekend, so it was a good atmosphere, extremely hot, and quite busy.

The landscaping and grounds of this potentially attractive shopping center are disgusting and low…read moreclass. This in an area of beautiful properties all around the Bayway and Tierra Verde. Even the Regions Bank adjacent to the shopping center made big upgrades to their landscaping after the hurricanes and it looks fantastic. The shopping center does nothing to clean up dead foliage along the frontage and has also done nothing to rehab the irrigation system and plant new trees and plants along the property frontage and parking lots. I would hope that tenants have some leverage over the owner to do the right thing and bring the grounds up to a respectable appearance! Any potential future businesses thinking about leasing there should beware until the situation improves.

Stopped in the night before we flew out and got some shirts and a hoodie. They had some really…read morenice-looking clothes and prices were not too bad for the area. The bad part is when we got home. The following day, I put on one of the hoodies, and it literally started coming apart at the seams. After wearing it for an hour with nothing in the pocket, half the seams had come apart. I tried to contact the store through their site, but nobody ever got back to me. So here we are. From the pics, you can see the extent of the unraveling. May be better off just looking and not buying next time.

The prices were a little unreasonable with a lot of the stuff, but it was at least nice stuff. And most of John's Pass was a little spendier since it's a big tourist spot so it has to be expected. It's mostly a women's clothing store, but there was a side for the men too- along with that, a lot of small cutesy home decor, bracelets and a few other knick knacks. It was all so cute I had to walk out so I wouldn't keep looking. The people working were nice but definitely hovering a bit too much. I liked that they were attentive but could definitely see how it would feel overbearing. They did even have some kids clothing which was sweet.

I had never been to a Bealls Outlet or even a regular Bealls before. I stopped on the chance,…read morewhich I figured was close to zero, that they would have a black bow tie. I had already tried a Walmart and two Targets without success. So it was a WOW moment when I found one here. The store is only about 20% men's stuff but I looked around and found something else I needed. Actually I think one of the reasons I had never been to a Bealls is an idea it might be a women's only store. The store isn't fancy, just basic fixtures. Actually it's kind of what you would expect from a thrift. But it is neat and clean and considering the odds and ends product mix of an outlet, well organised. SUPER nice employees. I will go back.
