We recently returned to Liquid Assets for our second dinner, hoping for another experience like our…read morefirst visit. The first time, we really enjoyed ourselves. The food was good, the cocktails were well made, and we left looking forward to coming back. Unfortunately, our second visit didn't live up to that first impression. The food was still decent, but the cocktails were disappointing and lacked the quality we experienced before. The dining room was also quite noisy, making it difficult to have a relaxed conversation. One issue that was consistent on both visits was the service. While the staff was friendly, our wait service wasn't very attentive either time, and we often found ourselves waiting longer than expected for drinks and other needs, including getting our bill. I chased down the waitstaff on each visit just to pay. Based on our two experiences, Liquid Assets has shown it can be very good, but the inconsistency makes it hard to recommend wholeheartedly. We probably won't be in a hurry to return, though we hope they can provide a more consistent experience in the future.

I'm still fairly new to anything in Lincoln despite living in Nebraska for a little over a decade! He told me he's come here several times before and that their wings were pretty good. We were both hungry and knew we had a lot ahead of us so we wanted to eat a hearty meal that was tasty! We chose our sauces and waited patiently for the tray of wings! Boy, did they deliver! Our waitress came by with the a huge tray of our 40 wings, fries, tots, and some ranch. My mouth immediately dropped open without even realizing it. Our waitress chuckled as I gathered my mouth and took not only the wonderful drool inducing smells but also how large the wings were! They were delicious! We also had an ample amount of napkins as well. I loved both sauces that we ordered and actually look forward to stopping by for wings again should we ever be in town again. Shared parking lot…read more Chill place. Basically you seat yourself It's a sports bar. There are a couple of arcade games. Good mix of seats. We took a high table near ghe bar. We were served pretty quickly. I ordered an Abbie's margarita it was yum!!! Didn't have to wait too long. And I also ordered bourbon pork belly bites! Hubby ordered a turkey sandwich with a side of onion rings. The onion rings were battered and fried daily. We could tell. Hubby loved his food and so did I. My cocktail sauce was still frozen in a separate little plastic container. I thought the price was reasonable and the food was OK. The event space was not set up well for as big of a crowd at the event, but I mean it's great that the people hosting had such a good turnout! We were even called on Tuesday phones right as they were calling for us Food is great as always. Our server was polite and very helpful. I hope I got her name righr- Maisey I think. Wonderful service and great food as always even though it's bustling crazy busy. Lovely sports channels played on every single TV. It was my first night out after two weeks of being sick.
