Our food was good and good prices. The margaritas were good as well. The atmosphere is fun and what we were looking for, but the service was below average for us. Once we put our orders in we weren't checked on much and we had our finished cups/glasses and food on our table for a while. First off, we were charged twice for our meal and never received a call back to resolve it. That was honestly just the cherry on top of an already disappointing experience. I know better than to judge a place by its cover, and despite my doubts, I chose to give them the benefit of the doubt. I ordered the American taco thinking it was something they simply could not mess up, yet somehow, they did. What I received was half of a hamburger patty tossed into a cold ass flour tortilla with some lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. No flavor. No effort. Taco Bell is genuinely 1,000 times better, and that says a lot. The Memphis taco was honestly a joke. Ohhh boy, and the Jameson BBQ sauce... I am sure anything off the Sysco truck could be better. At this point, they might as well call US Foods and ask for free samples. Between the poor food quality and the unresolved double charge, this was a complete letdown. A perfect okay spot to get a bite before a Husker game. We got a handful of tacos and drinks. The beers were ice cold, the only thing is the bloody mary seemed to be just bloody, not a lot added to it and overall really flavorless and didn't appear to have any vodka in it. Had dinner with my wonderful niece during this visit. She said this is a great place for street tacos, and man she was right. I will warn you, these are not the regular street tacos with onions and cilantro. These tacos are more on what I would call a gourmet taco. First, let me tell you this restaurant is in what I would call a historical area. Lots of old warehouse type buildings converted into wonderful establishments. There was a nice bar area and some tables for sitting at. I had not seen my niece in a bit, so we chose the bar so we could sit a bit. Service was excellent. The menu is something else (in a good way) my niece recommended the brisket taco, and I chose my second to be the carnitas. Toppings were specialized to each taco and complimented the protein nicely. This joint is ..well...a bar that sells tacos. I came for lunch so I didn't partake in the bar. I did. LOVE then tacos. I ordered 2 street tacos. 4 bucks a piece. I was kinda worried because a lot of places sell street tacos that are not substantial enough to scale at that price. These however were full and 2 were more than enough for my lunch. The options are vast so, go hungry. Plus the chips and salsa..a good price. The salsa is homemade. It was a perfect mild salsa. It was not flat. It had some spice but in perfect amounts. This is barely ranking as a 3m place. Mediocrity makes money. I would never spend another cent in here. The food was at best store brand processed cheese, salsa and chips quality. The service was ok, basically a bunch of late teen early 20's college servers doing an average job serving below average food. The environment was noisy but lively. This is my boyfriend and I's favorite spot in Lincoln. We probably come here twice a month but this visit was extremely disappointing. Our service was extremely slow probably (most definitely) because our waiter was more focused on chatting with other employees at the hostess stand than tending to customers. Tipsy Tina's is the PERFECT spot down in the Haymarket - whether your grabbing a bite to eat before a game, grabbing drinks and apps after work, or looking for a patio to spend an evening on, Tina's has it all. They have reasonably priced drinks in a ton of variety - but they're best known for their margaritas. My rum runner was a good mix up! They have homemade chips that go great with salsa/queso/guacamole depending on your preference. All the tacos are top tier - my favorite is the Bang Bang shrimp taco but you can't really go wrong with any of them! This used to be my favorite spot when I lived in Lincoln. I stopped here Friday night while there was a volleyball game downtown after I landed and I was starving. The food took a long time and I ordered a big margarita. It was very sweet and almost too hard to finish. You could tell it was made with mix, which is fine, just not my favorite for such a large drink. The tacos were just average. I am hoping it was because the kitchen was busy. well well well where does one start... within the first 30 minutes of being here we watched a drink we spilled (on us), a plate of tacos be dropped, and a bowl of chips being dropped (right next to us). my fault if coming in on a saturday was a mistake but there's just not much going on here. it's packed and tight constantly people walking behind you bumping into you. bartender attention was hard to get. the server we had was decent. the cream cheese bean dip tasted like well regular bean dip. overall probably won't be back... oh well! not much of a loss read more

Huge plus is that this place is open late with food. When you travel for work and you work evenings it's great to have a place to have late night dinner. Many places around the country are now closing by 9/10pm. Kitchen here is open weeknights til at least 11pm. Menu is limited as the focus is street tacos. They have12 or so options for that and about 7 or so app choices like dips and chip choices. Everything we've eaten has been tasty and balanced flavor wise. Quac comes with warm (when they aren't busy) chips that I assume are made on site or heated for better enjoyment. Just enough salt to add flavor. There is a vast tequila menu for those folks that know the difference between a mass market store brand and more limited runs. The list includes pours that reach triple digits and are known to be high quality tequilas. Their prices for things (ranging from about $8-$250) are competitive with other high end tequila bars. Their buyer has done a good job curating the list. When it's calm the place runs well and the service is great. When it's at least half full or more, expect to wait for your food and drinks. Though the wait staff is very nice and doing the best they can with the volume. Place has sports on all the TVs. Bar seating, a few high top longer tables, and a handful of booths. It also has outside seating when the weather allows it. Oh, and they are on Toast. So if you come in often use the same credit card to pay and earn points towards discounts on your bill. read more

Thought it would be a fun bar, but attitude of this guy bartender just ruined the experience for us. Making progress on my review for this restaurant... This is my second time ordering tacos here, and so far they are some of the best tacos in my opinion. Food wise I love this place, but service wise it's not good. We arrived over two hours before a concert and only 12 people in the restaurant. We placed our drink and food orders within 5 minutes of sitting down. Our server was very friendly and prompt in the beginning. Within 30 minutes of being seated the place doubled with customers as expected. We received our drinks and appetizers close to 5 minutes after placing the orders. Our food took well over 30 minutes from when we placed the orders, and we all needed drink refills or to receive our new drinks by the time I food arrived. Our server became nonexistent by the time our food arrived. Our boys went over 10 minutes without drinks because our server or bar never refilled them. My husband sat with his food awaiting on a new beer for over 10 minutes as well. Our server informed us they don't have a drink station so waiting on a very busy bartender to refill sodas isn't ideal. Plus, asking for more chips to go along with our dips took so long we ended up leaving. I'm guessing they were short staffed (or hoping that's the reason) for not so great service. Yes, they were busy that night, but having my family wait on drink refills (sprite & coke) for a very long time (close to 10 minutes) is ridiculous in my opinion. We were greeted quickly on a Husker game day and seated before we even knew it. We had a very friendly and nice server. I was super happy with my large sized piña colada to help cool me down on a hot day. It was really good and was definitely worth the price. It was in a big cup and was the cost of a cocktail at a restaurant but was the biggest piña colada I've ever had. One thing I was very disappointed in was the food which is why I have to give Tipsy Tina's 3 stars rather than 4 or 5. The queso was very average. I was really not impressed or disappointed by it. The chips were good. The fish taco was sadly one of the worst tacos I have ever had in my life. It was filled with a slaw that made my taco super soggy and it was sour tasting. Wow. Hands down the WORST service I have ever had while dining out. Went here the other night with my husband and children, and we were treated with utter disrespect. Our waiter, I believe his name was "Ethan", spoke to me in a condescending tone the whole night. He consistently spoke down to my daughter specifically, and I was NOT okay with that. Referring to my daughter order as "distasteful as her choice of clothing". For reference, my daughter was wearing a cropped shirt and jeans. Tina's was a huge disappointment. We ordered take out and the tacos were sopping wet all over the container. When we opened them we realized that they were still frozen. If you're going to be a Mexican restaurant, 1) don't pre-make and freeze your tacos and 2) at least pretend they're fresh and remember to heat them up if you do. The reason that the container was so wet was because it was melted ice all over. Upon heating them ourselves, the tacos were gross and lacked flavor. We stopped for a quick bite before a theatrical show. We were very pressed for time. The service was quick, we had menus straight away and drinks shortly after. These are street tacos, small, meaty bites with lovely crisp garnishes and dripping with delicious sauces and cremas... as for ambiance: this is a bar, but windows surround two sides as it sits on a corner in the Haymarket area of Lincoln. We enjoyed it so much we stopped in a few months later, chips with fresh salsa and delicious guacamole rounded out our street tacos wishes. Just yummm. read more

Came to Lincoln to take my daughter out for lunch and catch up and she had found this place on yelp so we give it a try. We were both pleasantly surprised how simple easy and good this restaurant was. She got fish and shrimp tacos and I got the Doritos special taco and the El Pastore taco. Speaking of mine, they were both very good especially the Doritos special taco. The El Pastor was very good as well and no complaints. We arrived at opening time at 11 AM on a Friday so we got to pick our Seat. Our waiter was very good, though he mumbled a little bit and it was hard to hear but he was pleasant and nice throughout our meal. I think we will definitely be back at some point. Our bill before tip was $23 for the both of us. I drink water but my daughter got a soda.
