I was not worried until I had a big bruise on my face for about 9 days! Everywhere I went people asked me about it. Freaked me out. Also bad: Office is unable to provide easy way to submit to Flexible spending accounts (FSAs). Patients OOP is separate from the superbills, and they email the Superbills separately, creating a huge job for patient. I had seven visit and had to make 3 calls and deal with 14 different emails in order to submit. I gave up. Seems like a healthcare company could do better given the expansive use of FSA/HSA reimbursement. Also bad: When looking at the superbill it said I was there for the treatment of pain. I did not seek accupuncture for pain. I did not have much pain, I suspect they did this to garner insurance coverage. Pain was only a very small part (or no part) of the reason I sought care. And while I was happy they got the treatments covered, it made me uneasy Also bad: A provider called me to speak to me about the hematomia after I reported it (oddly not the provider who gave it to me) When I called back, they never returned my call. I feel that Eric's acupuncture greatly helped to support my health and energy while I was working very hard toward some ambitious career goals.
