There are a bunch of big comfy chairs in a communcal room and two private rooms. Fred sold the place and I've only been back once with the new (current) folks but they seemed great too. I should have written this sooner and you shouldn't wait to go! Once someone was snoring real loud in the group room so I bring earplugs or airpods with chill music ready to go. It was small and quiet, and you really did not know what to expect because, at the time, it was an open area with recliner chairs for the clients. It was so calming, and speaking with a practitioner about your concerns was comforting. There was no rush, and you really felt heard and relaxed there. Once COVID happened, like most businesses, they were not available, and I was looking for that little gem of a place, but found out they had moved down the street and had a new owner. I was very skeptical about going because of my great experience, and it always seems that once new owners take over a business, it's just not the same anymore. Reluctantly, I decided to give it a try at the new location and with the new owner, and I am so delighted that I did. It was the absolute best decision I made for my well-being in a long time. The new place was bigger and had private rooms, unlike the last location. They even added a massage therapist to the practice. All the practitioners are genuinely nice and care about your health journeys and your health goals. Dr. Stephanie and Brad are amazing practitioners; they ask insightful questions about your health goals, offer insightful advice to help you achieve them, and always make sure you feel better after treatment. I have become a complete and total client with the clinic and have learned so much about myself and my healing journey. It is wonderful to actually know that you are heard and seen by someone. I highly recommend this place to people who want to improve their health and are ready to take their health journey in a positive direction.

She has treated me over the past 5 years for - shoulder, hip, groin, back, and knee issues. I also get migraines. So when I was done with a session and told her I was starting to get a migraine, she put some needles in, told me to rest and within 15min the migraine was gone. She is kind, gentle, considerate and very knowledgeable in treating your health issues. My adult son has also been treated as well and Dr Khanh did an excellent job. I highly recommend her!!!!! Christopher the sports massage therapist is terrific as well. I had severe hip pain and between his expertise and Dr. Khahn's it really helped with pain management until I agreed to a total hip replacement. First they clearly told me they were all in network with my insurance, and then after the acupuncture session they told me my practitioner could not accept insurance, but somehow nobody knew about it beforehand. I realized too late that this place is utterly mismanaged and incompetent. The manager said it could take weeks or longer to get things straight on their end. Since they know ZERO about acupuncture, they do now know or care that it is useless to start acupuncture and then wait weeks or months for a follow-up. Then they refused to let me make a follow up appointment with any other acupuncturist that actually could actually accept my insurance. This place is shady, duplicitous, and without ethics, and I would highly recommend you stay away.

All I know is that it works. When I moved, finding a new acupuncturist was at the top of the list. My health insurance covers it, so it's only a co-pay (check yours). I called my insurance, and there were so many to choose. I went through the list, looking at their credentials. Bingo! Maryland University for Integrative Health, one of the best acupuncture schools in the nation. My second criteria was someone who was a little old school. All signs pointed to A1. Now, the old school way is not gentle. In fact, Wun Hee lovingly calls me kitty cat, because I howl so much. But I'm a big baby. However, I suffer through a momentary zap or sting, so my issues can be resolved. The newer way--not going as deep--isn't as effective immediately (on me), imho. After a while, your qi will flow. Where it hurts is where you're blocked. It will go away, the more you go. After 4 visits, Wun Hee has me sleeping better. I now reach REM sleep every night and remember my dreams. I have better clarity during the day and my digestive issues are evening out. We're still working on my knee pain, but that will probably take longer, since there are residual issues from breaking my patella 3 years ago. Each time, Wunhee takes copious notes on my feedback and where she's needling. This isn't a silver bullet, as many people like to think. Some tweaking needs to happen. Time needs to pass. She finally hit the "formula" on round three. Hurrah! This fourth visit, I finally fell asleep on the table--complete relaxation, exhale. As a response to the other poster, Wun Hee has never proselytized to me, while I've been in her office. I'm sure that if you said you were uncomfortable with anything, she would take note and adjust it like the professional that she is (I did regarding the old school way, and we worked up to it). She really has a gift and is very kind and loving. Take advantage of the Groupon offer. I also took a star off for the parking lot. No matter what time of day I go, maneuvering the parking lot and/or finding parking is anxiety inducing. It's a good thing I have an appointment with Wun Hee. Notes: Wunhee may open a package of needles and use some on some patients and then use the remaining on another. She also does not wear gloves and may wipe away blood with her bare hand. Both of these things may make people feel uncomfortable.
