There are a bunch of big comfy chairs in a communcal room and two private rooms. Fred sold the place and I've only been back once with the new (current) folks but they seemed great too. I should have written this sooner and you shouldn't wait to go! Once someone was snoring real loud in the group room so I bring earplugs or airpods with chill music ready to go. It was small and quiet, and you really did not know what to expect because, at the time, it was an open area with recliner chairs for the clients. It was so calming, and speaking with a practitioner about your concerns was comforting. There was no rush, and you really felt heard and relaxed there. Once COVID happened, like most businesses, they were not available, and I was looking for that little gem of a place, but found out they had moved down the street and had a new owner. I was very skeptical about going because of my great experience, and it always seems that once new owners take over a business, it's just not the same anymore. Reluctantly, I decided to give it a try at the new location and with the new owner, and I am so delighted that I did. It was the absolute best decision I made for my well-being in a long time. The new place was bigger and had private rooms, unlike the last location. They even added a massage therapist to the practice. All the practitioners are genuinely nice and care about your health journeys and your health goals. Dr. Stephanie and Brad are amazing practitioners; they ask insightful questions about your health goals, offer insightful advice to help you achieve them, and always make sure you feel better after treatment. I have become a complete and total client with the clinic and have learned so much about myself and my healing journey. It is wonderful to actually know that you are heard and seen by someone. I highly recommend this place to people who want to improve their health and are ready to take their health journey in a positive direction.

PLEASE make an appointment to see Dr. Francis Jung at Columbia Physical Therapy In Motion. *EVERY* session you will get 45 minutes of dedicated time with him. No interns. No down time. Just one-on-one time with an incredible physical therapist. I met Dr Jung after 2.5 years in pain (about 14 months of severe sciatic pain) that left me with pain-based scoliosis. Standing or walking for more than 15-30 seconds was incredibly painful and I couldn't stand up straight. Had seen 3 physical therapists and 3 chiropractors over those 2.5 years and none knew what to make of my issue after several months of treatment. Dr. Jung was kind enough to call me on his own time after work one evening and assured me his experiences could likely assist. Dr. Jung has a kind and compassionate presence along with wisdom from years of hands on experience and tons of training. Did you know Doctor's of Physical Therapy (DPT) can opt to go through residency and on to fellowships? He was one of the first 10 DPT fellows in the state of Maryland! As a tip: when you call to make your initial appointment, ask to get on his schedule twice a week to make sure you don't have to wait again --- if you opt not to see him anymore, just cancel the appointments with no problems. I've suffered from very bad allergies especially during the spring when pollen is bad. Ever since I started my treatments with Dr. Cheng in 2014 I hardly get allergies throughout the year and I have been enjoying the outdoors ever since I've started my treatments with Dr. Cheng. Since I'm active military, I moved out of Maryland to Texas in 2016 but I've continued to come back every year to get his treatment because I've tried many other acupuncturist and they don't come close to the effectiveness when it comes to his way of treatment. He is very friendly and he listens to you about your ailments but he can also tell where your body is hurting. He is Chinese so he will have an accent but try to really listen to what he is saying and you can understand him. If not, just ask him again and maybe repeat what he said to make sure you understand. I say this because I truly believe and trust him to help people feel better and live with less pain.
