There are absolutely no shortages of places to eat in Hattiesburg. Some visiting might lean towards safe places with menu items they feel secure and safe with, and there's nothing wrong with that. But, if that's you you're missing out on some amazing food. Today I took my wife for mother's day as they had some special items on their menu, while also keeping their regular menu available. We started with their standard dumpling appetizer. We get it everytime we eat there and they're delicious every time. The meals we picked were the the kimchi cabanara and the shrimp and grits. Both on their special mother's day menu. Both were absolutely delicious with fresh ingrediants, balanced seasonings and amazing flavors. I'm Italian and grew up eating traditional family Sunday dinners but this bowl of pasta was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere of the place is very modern with a combination of traditional asian features mixed with some modern MTV inspired artwork. If you're into craft cocktails they got you covered as well. The only miss we had to day was our server never came back to take our dessert order, when we asked to order it he confused what we said for the bill and brought that instead. Not a deal breaker, we were actually too full for it anyway and we've had their desserts before. They always inventive and delicious. At the end of the day, one small service hiccup wasn't enough to overshadow what was an outstanding meal and experience. In a city packed with chain restaurants and predictable menus, places like this are what make Hattiesburg's food scene worth exploring. If you're willing to step outside your comfort zone a little, you'll be rewarded with creative dishes, quality ingredients, and flavors you'll still be thinking about on the drive home. We'll absolutely be back.

Cocktails were creative and beautifully presented. The food was great - eclectic Asian would be my descriptor. We had the pickled veggies which included kim chi, black garlic, poblanos, pickles, and collards. The assortment was very nice. The pork and shrimp dumplings were a bit firmer than I'm used to, but not in a bad way, and the flavors were excellent. The pot roast egg rolls were a fun mashup. The okra was delicious - perfectly cooked and great balance of flavors. The pork belly buns were my favorite item. Lots of tender, crispy pork on a cloud soft bun. Yum! I will definitely return if in the area.

I would like to say how disgusted I am with this establishment after my child (SEVEN YEARS OLD)was…read morerefused service today because she wasn't wearing a mask. I think it is absurd to force anyone into doing that but to force a child is another level of stupid I hadn't seen until now. She was offered a mask that sat in a box that everyone else in the mall had touched and handled and not one employee was wearing gloves, which I feel should be worn by anyone handling food and between each transaction but even more so if you feel you may be spreading a deadly virus. If you're going to force someone to wear a mask, please make sure that you're forcing them to wear it correctly, enforcing your employees to wash between each transaction and also enforcing them to wear their mask properly or your life saving tactics are in vain. The age for enforced mask wearing has NEVER been for children under 12 and it is disgusting that my child left crying because of some little girl on a power trip. I also requested the managers or owners contact information and was refused that information. I wanted to do this privately but unfortunately the petty little girl behind the counter forced my hand. I appreciate all of the other stores in the mall for allowing their customers to freely choose if they want to wear a mask and not forcing our babies to wear them and still serving us kindly. -- with J.d. Our server, Cameron, was kind, patient, and attentive as we waited for our friend to arrive. He was also extremely knowledgeable about the menu, and offered great suggestions based on his personal favorites. We started with the crabmeat wontons, which I was expecting to favor traditional rangoons, but these were crispy gyozo dumplings, filled with a savory and smooth blend of crab and cream cheese, and served with sweet chili sauce. They didn't last long on the table :) Even my husband, who usually doesn't like seafood, dug in! Intrigued by the subtle twist on a classic, my husband chose the fried chicken and beignets. I was allowed a bite :) and it was hard to stop there! The flavor of both components was outstanding, and the crispy texture, perfect. I wasn't quite as hungry, so I asked if I could do a classic Caesar salad and add creole shrimp. When I say this was the best salad I've ever had, I'm not exaggerating! The flavor of the dressing was so simple yet rich, the croutons were light and tasted freshly-made, and the shrimp were deliciously savory, with a blackened flavor that exceeded my expectations. All in all, a great dining experience that we will share with others traveling through the area, and will repeat if we're ever back!

When it comes down to it, it's about the food! The server was a nice young lady & that was about the only saving grace of my over priced & long wait supper. This place looks cool but I want better food, more fair pricing & faster service. I'd recommend you look elsewhere if you want a tasty meal. Don't let the "cool vibe look" deceive you!
