I am a broken hearted widow! My husbands perfect celebration was ruined due to Mum's flowers not delivering flowers to be placed by his ashes and his daughters and brothers and sister flowers to be placed next to his ashes. We did get our money back but how do you make it right for a day that can never have a replay! read more

I am very disappointed in the service we received from this flower shop. I am not one to give bad reviews, but I feel it is very warranted in this situation and want to warn others. We pre-ordered over $900 of flowers for my father's celebration of life service approximately 10 days before the service. We were told the flowers would be delivered to the church either the night before or by 11am on the day of the service. At 11:20am my sister called the store and was placed on hold for over 10 minutes, I called the store and spoke to the owner Christy. Christy gave excuse after excuse why the flowers were not ready. I understand we did have a snow storm and many things were delayed or could not be delivered. I asked why a call was not made to us the day before explaining the issue and she stated we were not the only customer and they were very busy. She did offer a refund and we accepted it. Needless to say we had my father's celebration of life without any flowers. read more

Love ! Last minute on a Sunday the day before Memorial we needed flowers for a funeral. We reached a lady on her cell phone, told her we needed a vase today of pretty flowers. That was at 11 am by the time we arrived at the funeral home at 4pm there was a beautiful vase of white lilies, roses and glads already there . Simply great service and beautiful arrangements. FABULOUS! I live in Nashville & needed 2 arrangements for the Columbia funeral of a dearly loved long-time family friend ASAP. I'd learned of funeral arrangements the night of 8/18 & called Mum's The Word Flowers as soon as the shop opened on 8/19. I spoke with Tracy. She was extremely helpful-she listened to my somewhat confused explanation of what I was looking for. She made helpful suggestions, and was perfectly understanding when I had to hang up to compose myself (I got a bit teary!). When I called back, in a less distressed state, Tracy patiently worked with me to get a full understanding of what I wanted. I was so relieved after the phone call, because I had a sense that Tracy understood the message we wanted to convey. I'm DELIGHTED!!!! The arrangements were EXACTLY what I'd hoped for & delivered that SAME morning in plenty of time for the viewing. Tracy even sent me a photo! And the flowers are stunning! I've ordered a lot of flowers for my wife, from a lot of different florists. When she changed jobs, and started working out in a rural location, I had difficulty finding anyone to deliver to her.
