The people there have always been really nice, and I've never had a bad service experience. I'd say a lot of what they sell is worth the money, but true antique/vintage things like what they sell are not always going to be "cheap". Although, I have found many great items selling for low prices! I love to come in here with my best friend after we go out to breakfast somewhere in town, and it's definitely a true antique store with authentic antique items!! I've gotten a couple Precious Moments from here and a collectible Harley Davidson Barbie for my sibling as a gift. I also found a really cute cookbook that me and my friend share for only $3. I have purchased a few home decor pieces and plants from Smith and York, and am always pleased by the quality and selection offered. The owner selected such a cohesive and stylish collection of products and rotates new items in and out constantly. They're closing their doors due to an increase in rent and have a lot of inventory on sale. My mother was at the register paying for some things and happened to notice a large canvas painting of four bandits from Leiper's Fork. She mentioned how she's always admired it and asked if it was for sale. The lovely lady at the front, who I can only guess to be the wife of the owner said and I quote, "If you couldn't afford it back in 2018, you sure couldn't afford it now." Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Can't afford rent, closing your doors and speaking to someone like that. You can't even afford to keep your doors open! Bye!
