Because the fruity pebble mochi donut is heavenly. Though all the other flavors are also delicious and I don't think you could go wrong with any. Came by for a sweet treat on a whim and tried the pineapple brûlée pastry, the Pandan mochi donut, and the pistachio kreme croissant. The pastries were decent. The mochi donut had a nice chewy bouncy texture but not much Pandan flavor. All the mochi donuts seem to have the same base and the flavors are only in the icing. The pineapple brûlée pastry and the pistachio kreme croissant were flaky, but I wanted more pineapple and pistachio in the pastries. The service was fine; they didn't mention their specials at all but we were helped quickly. The space is fairly large for a cafe and had plenty of tables. I ordered a croissant breakfast sandwich with egg and cheese, and milk tea coffee with tapioca boba added- both of which had great textures, flavor, and was filling and satisfying. This is my absolute favorite donut shop on this side of town. I have to admit I'm here almost every weekend. So let's see how I can put heaven into words that's it's heaven in your mouth. They are not to sweet always made and always made fresh to order. There is usually a new flavor to try and you're never going to believe FREE samples. It's moderately priced for a donut but they have breakfast sandwiches as well as some other pastries to try, drinks I mean this place fulfills every sweet treat. You are always greeted at entry and there always nice up beat music playing. I generally dance to it while eating my treats that never make it to the car. I have never had the croissant croons before but one day I decided to try the ube one and omfg it changed my life. They have a variety of flavors for all their baked items. "Flavor explosion" is an overused cliche, but it's legally the only way this can be described. I added popping boba and sucked this thing down like I was racing someone to the bottom of the cup. This is right next door to where we take our son for haircuts, so we have no excuse not to be frequent visitors here. I usually drive 50+ minutes to Bellaire when I crave for Mochi Donuts, so I was super excited to find out there's one in the area now. I came on a Friday afternoon, and the place was pretty empty. Usually I have to drive to Sul Bing Su or Mochinut for my mochi donuts fix, so it's refreshing to have a spot so close by! They've been open for only a few days, but they're going strong. The restaurant is super clean. Michael is incredibly patient and helpful, and the selection hits the sweet spot, a moderate selection of options without enough to cause selection fatigue. On this trip I sampled the blueberry and churro mochi donuts, and purchased: -Coffee with milk foam and boba - The drink has great flavor.The tapioca was a little too firm for my liking, but overall a great product. -All 3 mochi donuts I purchased, Matcha, churro, and chocolate offered a bit of a different profile compared to the mochi donuts I've tried in the past, but tasty! The churro and chocolate specifically stood out, the textural variety is certainly a nice touch, and the cereal stays crunchy! -Bulgarian cream volcano cream puff is giving main character energy! They torch it on sight like crème brûlée. The crunch from the raw sugar is nice, and the cream is satisfyingly light without being overly sweet. Overall, I'd love another element to really set it off, but it was pretty solid -Chocolate cream puff- I've yet to try this one (since I tried all of the others today, but I'll keep you posted) Overall my culinary sweet tooth gives it a 5/5 as a solid option to satisfy my sugar craving any day. read more

I am addicted to this new donut place. It has such a different texture than a regular donut. Just like the chewiness of a mocho but in a donut with great Asian flavors. The texture is crisp, buttery flaky croissant filled with a flavored creamy custard and dipped in white or milk chocolate. Both flavors were delicious, but my favorite was the strawberry. The filling is like strawberry pudding's richer, sexier cousin ;). They also now offer excellent savory options for breakfast, including a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on the most delicious, flaky croissant "bun." I ate mine in the car on the way home. Fantastic breakfast sandwich! They've added quite a few beautiful and unique pastry options, including the on-trend "Mille Crepe Cake" and the whimsical "Croffle" for those who can't decide between a croissant and a waffle. Ordered boba drinks for me and workmates in the hospital. Delivery was prompt. Drink quality was good but we were very disappointed that there were no straws included in the delivery. We called the store to see if they could assist-as it's not enjoyable to drink boba drinks with a skinny straw...if you know, you know... The cafe was spacious and seems like a great place to hangout or study. It wasn't crowded when I went, so the service was great too and they were very friendly. The mochi donut had a nice chewy texture and flavor to them. We got a boba milk tea and Thai milk tea with boba too. To my disappointment, this was the worst boba tea I've ever had in my life. I don't know if we just went at a bad time when the tea and boba wasn't fresh, but the drinks tasted like syrup and had a medicinal aftertaste, we couldn't finish even the small size cup. The boba was way too soft, as if it was too many hours old. While I enjoyed the mochi donut and would come back for that or to try the other desserts that looked super appetizing, I'll never come back for the boba.
