A good healthy concept that will need to try harder to be more appealing.
Since we live right on top of the mall, we're always excited for a new restaurant to open and Munch is a welcome addition to the slowly growing number of dining options along the Venice Grand Canal and they're the first health oriented place to have a green meal.
Roast Chicken (165 PHP)
I doesn't include rice, so that's another 30 PHP or 120 for a side salad from the display. We both had the Red rice and a sweet potato salad, which was glazed with a thick caramel coating for a sweeter experience? Our chicken breast was disappointingly dry, gummy, and sorely deficient in flavour, something that would lead other to stereotype healthy as boring. I also consider that my piece may have been stored in their food warmer longer than expected, as the scarcity of customer may be the culprit for that, but it should be served as it would compromise first impressions to relatively young market.
Roasted Salmon (245 PHP)
A decently sized salmon cut with a bit more fun to the flavour, but still bordering boring as our piece was almost out of water content.
We're rooting for their success, but find their food in need of improvement. We will be revisiting again to keep this review up to date. read more
