It would be helpful if you informed people in advance of not only the graduation picture packages your offer but also that your "special photo package pricing" is only good the day you are in the building getting your picture taken. Had we been aware of this, we would have booked our session for a later date as Covid has caused us to be under-employed and finances are tight. We explained this but it fell upon deaf ears. One would have thought that as a local business that they would extend the offer by a week or two. It would also be good practice to inform your clientele what will be happening during their visit with you. Our experience was more of a come here, sit there, go there. We had no idea what was coming next. It should also not be assumed that a client knows exactly what shot is being used in a yearbook. Explaining which shots are being used would have been really helpful and made the encounter less contentious. And, when your sales rep pulls up a picture and starts gushing over how beautiful your child is, please actually pull up the picture of my child, the actual child in the room with you, and not someone else's child. We were simply a number to them. The photographer was wonderful and captured beautiful shots. While it was not a pleasant experience (except with the photographer), we are hopeful that the pictures will be good. I hope that they make changes to improve the customer experience. read more

I could not be happier with Munoz Photography. Frank was our photographer and he is absolutely amazing. Not only is he kind and genuine, but he takes absolutely gorgeous photos! The owner, Tom, was very friendly during our meeting. He's fair and honest, and doesn't want you spending money on things you don't need. The receptionist is professional and delightful. The studio and offices are very clean and well-kept. The prices are fair, but you are definitely paying for quality and you will NOT find a better company (or photographer) in South Florida. I wrote this review 2 years ago and it never posted... I think Munoz Photography's other reviews on Yelp are fake as most were posted within a day or two of each other. The service I have received has been AWFUL. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had in using a professional service, certainly the worst photographer. It took them 6 weeks to get the ordering site up. The photos themselves were not that good. My kids are making stupid faces and fake smiles in most of the shots (disappointing considering what they charge for prints). Once I ordered, they charged me twice AND lost my order. It is now 6 weeks since I ordered the photos online and more than 3 months since the photos were taken and they still have not arrived. Worst of all, the owner does not seem to think she has done anything wrong. I would have been better off going to Target Portrait Studio for the quality of service I've received. read more

The best of the best. I will preface by saying I grew up in South Florida and everyone knows the award winning Munoz Photography is who you want to shoot your wedding! My family used them for my sister's wedding four years ago and when we got engaged they were one of my very first phone calls. Tom shot our wedding and he captured our day incredibly. We took our pictures at The Biltmore, but our actual wedding was at the Coral Gables Country Club. Both are beautiful venues, but Tom is able to capture a side of them I would have never imagined. At The Biltmore he took a photo of us under this beautiful tree that is hands down my favorite picture I have ever seen. We are planning to buy a canvas of it, but debating what size to get and want to make the right decision as they are pretty expensive! At the Coral Gables country club, the shots of our ceremony (outside, after dark) are stunning and the photos he took of the ballroom are already being used as the main picture on The Knot's website. I am in awe of how well Tom is able to capture emotion from every subject he shoots. The landscape looks amazing, the people look like super models, the dresses look couture, everything just looks the best when Tom is behind the lens. He makes you feel beautiful and comfortable with every shot and puts your bridal party, family, etc at ease when taking photos of them as well. I know people have hesitations because of the cost, but skip the videographer (we like our pictures more than our video and definitely show more people our pictures than video) and put that money towards your photos. I believe the packages start at about $5000 but be prepared to double that if you want him there all day, want a big album (we got two as my mom couldn't imagine not having one), have multiple places you want to shoot, want to buy rights to all of the pictures, etc. Regardless this is one of the best decisions we made in wedding planning. Their resumes and awards speak for themselves. If you want romantic, beautiful wedding photos, look no further. Everyone else we worked with at Munoz Photography including Erika, Joanne, Mario, etc was friendly, patient, helpful and just overall a joy to work with. They are the nicest family and have NAILED their trade. I am not a person who usually has the time to write reviews but I felt compelled to write this one. My family and I decided to have professional pictures taken with my 6-month-old daughter. We were all very excited and had picked outfits for the occasion. However, on the day of the photo shoot, our daughter, who is almost always happy, didn't sleep well and was not in a great mood. Just as we were about to start the shoot, she began crying and wanted to eat. Joann and Armando were beyond understanding. They encouraged us to do whatever was needed to make sure she was taken care of first, even though it delayed the shoot. They went above and beyond to make us all comfortable and to make sure our daughter was happy. They were absolutely wonderful with her and with us. Our daughter was not able to sit up for long on her own at the time, and they were patient and innovative in the way they positioned her, always making sure she was safe and happy. As a new mom, this was very important to me. Joann and Armando went to all extremes to make her laugh and it made us laugh with her. It was a very enjoyable experience for us all. The studio is beyond clean and you can feel the family atmosphere and warmth. I must also tell you that Armando and the Munoz team are beyond talented and we ended up with the most amazing pictures you could ever imagine. We had my sister's wedding at the Boca Resort. Tom photographed the wedding and was completely rude to everyone in the wedding party. I would NEVER use them again. My mom asked him where we were going next to take pictures and he basically told her that it was none of her business. Munoz Photography was always my first choice when I started planning this wedding, for several reason, one important one being that they were the last to photograph my grandmother before she passed away and since my wedding was on her birthday going with them had meaning to me. BY FAR THE BEST WEDDING DECISION WE MADE!! We used Munoz Photography for our Wedding in November at Parkland Golf & Country Club. My husband and I were truly blown away from start to finish. We initially met with Mario, and within moments of meeting him we knew we had to use them! Mario was already booked on the day of our wedding so he recommended his brother Tom. Tom was absolutely amazing! We took engagement photos at Vizcaya, they were perfect. They came out just as beautiful as our wedding pictures. The office staff was so nice and extremely professional and kept us on track in the months approaching our wedding. On the day of our wedding it was raining all morning, Tom 100% saved the day! We were supposed to take getting-ready pictures in a different location, but the rain was so bad we couldn't leave the venue's simple room. Tom was not even worried, he used a simple mirror to create the most beautiful and special pictures, Im obsessed with them. Despite the rain, Tom made our entire day feel FLAWLESS! Tom went above and beyond for my husband and I the whole night. We couldn't be happier with our pictures, or our wedding day, and we have Tom & Munoz Photography to thank for that. A week after the wedding we received a link to share with our family and friends with over 1300 pictures from our wedding! The hardest part will be narrowing our choices down to 75 for the album since all of the pictures are amazing. We even used them to make our Christmas cards.
