I made the huge mistake of going to a Walgreens to have my passport photo taken. Please don't make the same mistake that I did. The lighting was horrible and I was totally dissatisfied with the end result. So, I decided to look for a professional studio that could do my photo justice. Studio 2000 had excellent overall reviews and so I decided to give them a try. When I arrived at their location the door was locked. My heart sank because I thought they were closed. As I was turning to leave, the door buzzed and I pulled on it with a huge sigh of relief. I made sure I had made it there before their 7 PM closing time. The photographer asked me what I needed and I told him 2 US passport photos. He ushered me into the studio and had me sit on a little black stool. He advised me of how to pose and I followed his instructions. Within minutes he captured 2 shots and asked me to choose the one I preferred. He then printed them out and handed them to me in a lovely sleeve. I was in and out in around 10-15 minutes. If you're looking for professionals who can get the job done at a reasonable price, Studio 2000 should definitely be your go-to! read more

Unfortunately, I was not able to give this place a good review. I went for my passport picture and even though the gentlemen attending are very nice, my picture came with a lot of shadow in my face this due to the lights being on each side of my face in opposite direction, when I told the guy about the shadow he told me there's nothing he could do, pretty much he could care less about that. Curtious, quick, and professional was how I would describe my passport photo experience here today. I called yesterday and the photographer called me today when he was available. I recommend calling ahead so you know if he is in or not. I was very pleased with the photo and the cost was less than a photo that I got taken at a drug store that I don't even think the State Department even would have accepted since the lighting was all off. Do yourself a favor and come here and have your photo taken by a professional in a studio designed to light your face appropriately and skip paying more for photos from a drug store that you won't even end up being able to use. read more

Wilkens, the owner, has a professional set up, took several shots, allowed me to select my favorite one, and then edited them. Very friendly and the pictures came out great! I Called since Thursday about a passport picture at 5 pm they said they were closing already when their website says 7pm. I told then I need an appointment for Saturday. The person who answered said come Saturday between 3 and 5 there will be someone here. Well Im here and is closed and no one answer. Worse business service I have encountered. I came here to take my Canadian passport photos. Its well known that Canada has very stringent regulations, you can't just do it at Walgreen's! I've had previous photos denied by professional photographers before. Its good to know that Wilkens is an excellent one, and his place of establishment is on the official list for Canada government recommended photography centers. The picture was great, he has excellent equipment here! He was very friendly and courteous as well. The price was very reasonable as well for such quality. For Jamaican Passport Photos: I went here because of all the good reviews for Canadian Passport pictures. The gentlemen were very friendly. I asked the photographer if he wanted to review the passport photo rules but he was confident in his abilities...even allowed me to retake the photo once. When I went to the consulate a couple people were redirected to a near by establishment to retake their pictures. I was NOT one of them. You won't waste your money. read more

Writing this review while here now actually great experience and customer service. Had to get passports done for Jamaica they are very tough with photo requirements for passports. Just to be careful the photographer googled online exact specs so I wouldn't have to make two trips . Also said if they aren't accepted to comeback and he will do it again for free.Great studio would recommend and go again in the future. read more
