He said he is from Ecuador and many of the beans used in the chocolate come from Ecuador. This was one of the best customer service experiences I've had this year. Any type of business. Before buying a bunch of holidays gifts, I tried a number of chocolate samples. They were obviously very high quality. There were a number of artistic chocolate pieces. I liked some of the chocolates better than others- definitely the fluffernutter one was delicious. We haven't tried the pie yet, but I'm definitely excited. Because we were already on an adventure, might as well try one more place as well. Inside has all the decor of an influencer styled place. Everything with loud pictures and kinda pricy price tags for just sweets. Their milkshakes were mostly 20 dollars and were towers of candy, donuts, and decadence. The place is very concerned about outward appearances, but what about the flavor? That I can report is actually pretty good. The truffle is a brigadeiro truffle. It's a soft and kinda chewy truffle, like a nougat and mochi hybrid. They were very pretty and flavorful, but not what one would call a truffle in the traditional sense. The Dubai chocolate square was dusted in gold dust and has the expected pistachio crème and phyllo inside. The chocolate was creamy and wonderful in flavor and consistency. The issue was the size, the chocolate shell kinda shattered on the bite and led to a bit of a mess in the car. The brownie was good. The chocolate ganache was delicious and the brownie was a little overdone. But the ganache really helped salvage the dish. It's pricy, is very much a place you go to for pictures of you and your entourage living their best life. But the quality is there and below the glitz and glamour there's a solid sweets shop here. They're allowed to free roam and are hormone free. There is a small parking lot and the chocolate shop is very intimate and cozy. The employees were friendly too. You're able to peak into the dairy barn and see the cows too. There are a variety of chocolates to choose from; from truffles, chocolate bars, caramel, and more. They have won multiple awards for their chocolate. They also offer private tours and chocolate tastings. I purchased a box of 9 assorted chocolates and two white chocolate lollipops. The chocolates were expensive but worth it. They tasted fresh and creamy, up there with the best chocolates I've had. I highly recommend a visit!

I had a couple of questions and they were answered quickly through IG. Not being sure whether or not I was in the 20-mile radius, I gave it a try and it went through - I'm right around that 20 mile mark. (They are located in Glastonbury and I live in Higganum) There is a 30.00 minimum for free delivery. Matt/co-owner was super friendly and kept me posted when he was about 20 minutes from my home. I ordered the mint chocolate chunk, vanilla bean, Connecticut River fudge and the waffle chips / toppings. Although I tasted each one and I am super happy with the flavors and the creaminess, I decided to have a serving of the Connecticut River fudge with a couple of toppings and waffle chips Yummmm Every bite either had fudge or a miniature peanut butter cup or both. You just can't go wrong with adding peanut butter to pretty much anything. I recommend all three flavors and I will be ordering again. They also make ice cream chocolate chunk cookie sandwiches. I did not order any but I did find out from Matt that they are recently in the Big Y near me, Middletown. I will be trying them soon.
