Okay, so heres the thing, as much as I'd love to be able to leave a full 5 star review, I just cant in good faith. Lmao. They get an A+ when it comes to the repair of my Dell laptop, inspiring 3580! It was having tons of software issues, as I recently purchased it from a local pawn shop. It would not properly install the latest version of windows, it kept stalling around 70-80% it waz running ultra slow, and sadly, ive become my father. (illiterate when it comes to technology, something i never thought would happen to me) Anyways, I struggled to find the right place to bring my laptop in, because when you know very little about computers, you have no idea if your being taken advantage of, or even told the correct information. So the reason they didnt get a 5 start review is because I felt like the man who did the work on my computer was very rude and wasnt explaining anything to me. Pocket fuzz had staged a full-scale invasion inside my charging port. These geniuses didn't just clean it out--they performed a delicate iPhone colonoscopy. In less than five minutes, my dead phone went from "flatline" to "back from the dead." Watching them pull out enough lint to stuff a Build-a-Bear was both horrifying and deeply satisfying. Honestly, I half expected them to hand me a tiny sweater knitted from pocket debris. Moral of the story: before you panic, let these folks work their magic. They saved me from buying a new phone, a new charger, or worse... facing life without Instagram. The people were all nice and I thought their rates were reasonable especially since Apple told me the iPad was worth nothing and couldn't be fixed. I looked up Munster Wireless Repair online and found it was very close to my home south on Calumet Ave. When I got there, I told the man at the counter my phone isn't working at all. Rather than investigate further, he showed me something that Xfinity locked my phone and he told me to pay my bill and they'll turn the service back on. My bills are on automatic payment. That can't be right and it wasn't correct. He dismissed me too soon rather than taking a closer look. I went to X-finitity in Merrillville and the issue was I needed a new sim card. They put on in, I was back in commission and my cell phone was working properly. Too bad Munster Wireless Repair didn't figure that out, I would have saved on gas. Do not waste your money here. I took my sons phone to get the screen repaired. He got a message when he turned it on that Iphone detected a non compatible part. The lady gave me a BS story that it was a default message. The screen looked like it didnt fit and broke again after a 3 ft fall. My phone screen was repaired by Helena who did it on the spot within 20 minutes. She also has a great personality and really knows her stuff. They have phone cases, screen protectors and accessories. When you get your screen repaired, they also include a nice screen protector which they install. Their work is guaranteed. The cost was $65.00 but I also tipped her 20% because she deserved it.
