worst iPhone repair place ever I went there for a screen and left town . the first day I landed without dropping or damaging the phone the screen glitched and I went back when I came back to Chicago , he said it was the motherboard . If I could score less than 1 star I would, I brought my laptop in to have the battery replaced -they said it would be a 1 hour job. March 17, 2022 they charged me and a month had already gone by!. I picked up my broken, unusable and useless system October 10, 2022. Did I mention all my information, documents, photos-gone? some how they had to remove/reset my software and somehow the MS bitlocker key was not sent to my account? No refund, no offer to replace my device, nothing except "you contact MS we don't deal with software!!!" That was 1 battery, 1 motherboard and a half a year ago! I was more than patient and understanding with the 7 month wait-each time, I had to contact them, they rarely reached out. My recommendation is to stay far away from this place - completely unprofessional and )-ZERO customer service! read more

I got tired of my phone not charging all the time because of the broken port. I gave this place a chance seeing all the negative reviews. The negative reviews are more than likely those of people who are not satisfied with anything. Walked in and he told me 45 minutes came back in that time frame and phone was finished and in great working order. My phone charges perfectly after a good month and have zero complaints. If I could choose negative stars I would. Absolute worst place I've ever been to. They try and tell you that you get a 90 day warranty but only Bc they know that their screens are going to go to shit within weeks. I paid $90 to get my screen fixed only to have to come back 6 weeks later to get it fixed again. I called and said I needed it fixed because there were green stripes going up and down the screen so he to he told me to come in the following business day at 12, never showed up. Calls me hours later saying I didn't knock hard enough. So fine, I go back, he charged me an additional $45 to fix it again Bc it was "my fault". I pay and nothing but 3 weeks later, my screen goes black every 10 seconds. So I go in asking for my money back and the gentleman on site says that I would need to speak to the managers to get a refund and says that I have to come back the next day at 1:00. So I do and of course he doesn't show up and tells the employee to give me two over priced phone cases as a credit for the $135 I just WASTED there. Oh but they're "low in inventory" so none of them fit my phone. DONT GO TO THIS PLACE! Just trying to steal from people. read more

Went in for a routine screen switch/repair. Came out with a phone that doesn't cut off when I talk on it. My face presses buttons whenever I put it to my head to talk now. I went in and told them about my new problem. I was given a replacement repair free of charge right there. Problem solved right? No problem still persists. At this point I return for the third day in a row, and I ask for a refund. I am told that the manager would have to do a refund and that all they could do at that moment is switch my screen. I inform them that I am leaving town on business the next day and ask the technician servicing me to contact his manager again and see if there was anything he could do. After arguing with me about it and then calling his manager, I was informed that I could wait two hours for the manager to return. Ok not ideal but like I said, I'm leaving, so I'll wait. I say that I will go out and wait in my car and return in two hours. I am told that I can wait inside and when I said I would rather wait in my car because of how rudely I was just spoken to for asking him to contact a manager, he insisted that I wait inside for two hours. I said fine and as I went to take a seat he informed me that his manager had called the police. I asked him for what reason because he just insisted that I sit down and wait and that if he had asked me to leave I would have. I then ask him to clarify what he would like for me to do, he offers me a snack and tells me to have a seat to wait for his manager. I do so. The police arrive and inform him that no crime was committed and they shouldn't have been called. I was told to return the next day for my refund by the police. I called the next day to speak with the manager. I was able to. He spoke to me in a less than pleasant tone and offered me a refund of about 35 percent of what I paid. I explained the situation that happened with his employee and the police and the problem with that. The offer became 50 percent. I had to argue with him for ten minutes to get a full refund of less than 50 dollars. I gave them two chances to get it right. They were not breaking my phone a third time. I said this to say, do not spend your money here if you are of color. They understand that black people have a shorter leash when it comes to asserting ourselves in public spaces and will attempt to exploit it by calling the police when you demand to be serviced like a normal person. Brought my phone in for a minor repair. They said they needed to order a part for it and they would have it the next morning. Around noon the next day I call and they say it's going to take another day. The guy on the phone sounded shady and he kept giving excuses. So I came down and simply asked for the phone back to take somewhere else. He tells me he already took it apart. I say no problem just give it to me as it is. He goes in and gets it and of course it hasn't been touched yet. He just said that to try and get me to leave it. Dishonest and super shady. I feel like I dodged a major bullet. I went here to have a replacement battery installed for my Samsung Galaxy S6 phone and was told it was going to be a $20 deposit and it would be a few days before the battery would be at the shop so a day before I planned to come in to get my battery installed I called the shop to let them know that I was going to come in and get my battery installed and someone on the phone said ok I come in the next day and I ask for my new battery to be installed in my phone and the man at the desk told me the Samsung technician wasn't there that day at that point I was upset and asked for my money back and was told the $20 deposit was non-refundable and the guy promised me that the Samsung technician would be there the following Sunday . I arrive at the shop roughly around 3:30 pm 6/2/2019 and a guy named Yusaf was there and I told him I wanted a new battery installed in my phone and I already put my deposit down on it he said oh ok and he took my phone to the back room to go work on it . 15 minutes later he came back saying that he's having a hard time getting the old battery out because a screw keeps twisting but it's not coming out and he said he would refund my money so he goes back in the room again for another 15 minutes and comes out saying "Yeah I couldn't fix it because of the screw" so I asked for a refund of my $20 deposit and he told me it's Nonrefundable when he mentioned the word refund earlier. He told me to come back Monday and speak to the manager but the manager will probably tell me the same thing also. read more

TERRIBLE BUSINESS! Stay away yelpers. He uses garbage quality screens. Went in to get my screen repaired since it was cracked. He fixed it and I had to return in 3! Days because the screen would go black on me every like 10 seconds. Went in with the "90 day warranty" he replaced it but when I returned to pick up the phone he charged me again because he said I had broken the new screen.. wtf? So I payed him to get my phone back. Had to return in about 30 days because the screen would would dial numbers, switch to speaker mode or just do random stuff when I was on the phone. So I took it back since it was under warranty but was not happy with his comments of repairing it so I demanded my money back and the kid said I had to talk to the owner for a refund. The owner was not there and I was told to return the following Monday at 2pm for my refund. I go back that Monday at 2pm and the owner never showed up and about 230pm the kid calls him and the owner says he won't refund me and he would not be making it in that day. He offered me a credit of $45 to repaid it again haha what a joke ! This would be my 3rd time paying to get it fixed the right way. I told him I would give him a bad review and he told me he would just post a positive one to counter mine. STAY AWAY ! Don't even bother going there and drive an extra 5 minutes to another shop. I paid $180 to "repair" it twice and he never fixed it. He charges $90 every time and trust me u won't be happy with your outcome. TERRIBLE BUSINESS. read more
