I'm not sure this is the same owner but from the business card I received, it's the same address. I've been to this place before and they did fine so I decided to go back. The man at the desk "fixed" my ipad within a reasonable time frame but 3 months later, the ipad has the same problem it had 3 months ago when I brought it in the first time. There's no guarantee on their work so if I wanted it "fixed" again, I would have to pay the $150 they charged me the first time. At this rate, I mind as well get a new ipad and not deal with such a hassle. Thanks for nothing. read more

Went to pick up my daughter's IPad and it wasn't done! They told me Friday I could pick it up Saturday. I informed them I wouldn't be back until Monday. I asked any specific time to be back and they assured me any time would be good because they would be done with it on Saturday. It's Monday and not done!!! Then Al acted like it was MY fault bc I knew they had to go get the part!!! I knew no such thing...only that they couldn't do it same day! Then when I was walking out Al was telling the customer or other employee in there he doesn't need my business...he has been there for 5 years...I turned around, walked back in and took the iPad! Where do I begin? What a truly great and honest business. I have an iPhone 5, and I also have a 3 year old son. Combine them together, and... well life happens. My screen has been cracked and my phone plunged into water... Each time I've brought my phone in to NWI Cell Phone Repair and seen Al (he also has 2 other great employees who work there), I've been treated with respect and kindness, been communicated and given the facts directly and honestly, and then been able to pick up my device after an hour or so back in perfect condition. I recommend anyone who has a cracked smartphone or tablet screen to see Al vs. even using your phone insurance where the deductible is much more than this repair (at least for my iPhone 5). You will be very pleased with the service and leave knowing you weren't ripped off. NWI Cell Phone Repair was my 1st choice today because my Galaxy S-4 completely failed. I called everywhere & this place gave me high confidence. Upon arriving, owner immediately analyzed phone & said he would fix it for a set price (very reasonable price). In approx 30 minutes he replaced almost every electronic part with BAND NEW parts, turned it on, and AMAZINGLY it came to life. Don't send your phone to anyone else ... this is best replair place anywhere. They know what to do. In case you are wondering, I am just a regular resident in NW Indiana and have NO CONNECTION to this business. I also own an electrical engineering business and can tell when a repair job is done properly. Check it out if your phone died. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! They replaced our iPhone screen. In replacing our screen they completely voided the Apple warranty on the entire phone. Secondly the screen they installed did not function properly. I took the phone back to the store within the 45 day 'warranty' period. I was told by the staff that they would not honor my warranty because the owner, 'Al' was not present in the store that day. Apparently all warranties are void unless 'Al' is present. Go somewhere else for service - for iPhones the Apple store is actually less expensive. read more

Worst place ever, they basically can't quirk on any "new" phones. Samsung galaxy s6 was released in April 2015 and I took mine in for repair and the guy AL was his name was like we don't normally work on new phones that just came out . Oh I'm sorry this is December, 9 months after release is not new. Not only did he not fix my phone but gave it back to me in worst shape than it was before. I called samsung and asked if it was normal for the paint to come off in the back piece, and was told not if you know what you're doing. None of our phone repairman ever have issues that I know off. Oh and to top it off I had to send the screen I bought for the phone back to amazon. Since when is amazon a non reputable website? ! Really? ! No. This so called business should aspire to be half as decent as amazon, and actually take responsibility for their actions. Never again will I go to them and I don't recommend it to anyone. read more
