Anyhow, Valero Gas Stations, usually nothing spectacular to rave about, but this one was rather nice. I loved the little Texas stars on the boys & girls room (restrooms..lol) It also seemed like they had more selection & better quality on beverages - both hot and cold & snacks - both cold & hot. Restrooms were clean & stocked w/tp. Gas seemed like it was better than the usual Valero's in California too. If your driving on the I-10 from where ever your coming from, this is a nice little pit stop.

Now at this point my mom is having a nicotine fit and I'm trying to get her smokes but this lady refused to sell even though we are both very clearly over the age of 21. I get being safe about selling to minors but she went way overboard, I was trying to buy for my older mom not some kid. Not happy with the service.

The workers have always been kind and I've never had any problems at this gas station. I'm usually here putting gas at least once a week! They have a great deal on hotdogs right now! 2 for $3. When going on weekend drives down 46 (and when in the Boerne area) we usually stop here. The restrooms have always been clean and the employees are pretty friendly. There's also a small train set off to the right when you come in although I've never seen it running. From what I've read, the Old No 9 route disappeared a long time ago but the history 'remains in the spirit' here. If you're a traveler or not familiar with the area, they also have a rack in the back of the store that holds brochures for things to do (I think most of the information is for the Hill Country if memory serves).
