I called explaining the situation with my shoes, and they were honest, not claiming they could immediately fix them but just asking to bring them in so they could take a look and see what they could do. I brought them in, they said the damage was pretty severe and permanent, but that they would do their best to restore them. I trusted them with the shoes, and a few days later when I picked them up to my surprise and delight they were in great condition! They really exceeded my expectations with their work. In addition they have shoes for sale. My husband got some great monk strap shoes that he's been wanting for a while. Overall amazing experience. They have been in business since the 60s, and the longevity is really a testament to the quality service they provide. Will definitely be back!

And $20 for a pair of shoes I already love and that are very comfortable and I will continue to wear...seemed like a deal. And it was! The shoes when picked up were a slightly darker color (we discussed that, it was expected) and ready to wear. The insole clean up was decent and at least not embarrassing to wear like they would have been. Payment was due at initiation of service/when dropping off the item(s). Only downside was they weren't ready at the first date he told me for pick up. I had some wiggle room time though so over all it was ok, it just meant extra driving around town and a bit of worry that they might not be ready by the new date (but they were!). I was happy with my service and would consider him again in the future!

I love my Le Pliage for travel - so roomy but also practical to be able to fold up and pack when I'm not using it. Von Maur no longer offers repairs as advertised on the Longchamp website, so I inquired about a repair here. Repairing the bag (corners had gotten worn out) would be $25, or $65 if I wanted to add leather reinforcements to the bottom). I decided to go with the $25 repair. From the outside it looked great when I picked it up. I unfolded it when I got home and have to confess that I felt like the repair was a bit basic for the price. Literally just sewed across, no serging the seam or anything. I could have done the same at home, but thought they were actually going to do something that would require a heavy duty machine and some skill. I'll still recommend, but maybe with some reservations with that experience in mind.

I wanted to get my boot sole fix and a pair of heels fixed, I couldn't get my boots fixed since he didn't have sole for my boots that fit. But was able to fix my heels for $6.00 since it's was the only cash I had on me. He normal charges $7.00 but literally was done with my heels less than 5 mins and they were perfect. He only takes cash, no card or checks. So come prepared with cash or call ahead and you can find out the cost. Parking lot is small in the front and if traffic is busy can be difficult to get out. But it's the only shoe repair in the area and he was super nice and nice fast.
