We waited almost two hours for our food to arrive. During that time, no one checked in, no explanation, and no apology. The service was slow, inattentive, and disorganized. Potatoes were OVERcooked, as was the zucchini, which was also too garlicky. There was only a single serving station while the number of guests probably merited two, which may have been the reason those nearer the end of the line had cold entrees. Checking in was easy at the pro shop next to the range. The pro shop staff and starter were polite and professional, we were ready early and the starter moved our time up which was nice. The course was in pristine condition for so early in the year and the greens all rolled true. It is a relatively young course born in 1990, designed by the legendary New England golf course architect, Philip Wogan. Hats off to the Black Swan staff and old Phil! Keep up the good work.

Their website and scorecard both say max time for 18 is 4:30. Pure fantasy. Rangers are non-existent. Every time that I have played this course this season has been 5+ hours. I hoped that things would get better under new ownership, but if anything, it's worse. This is my local course but I will be going elsewhere. Do better Black Swan. Your reputation is spreading.
