That time came and went and no communication from the company. I reached out again the following business day to see what was going on - because mistakes happen. The company, specifically, Dan, said he would come out later that day "at some point". I waited all day and they still never showed up nor reached out with an update. Please note that this score ONLY reflects them telling me they were coming (twice) and just never showing up nor bothering to let me know they were not coming. They have great reviews (thus the request for the quote). IF they show up for you, I have no doubt they will do a great job for you! UPDATE: The owner called and instead of just apologizing for the mix-ups, he was very upset at the review left. He said the review was "malicious" - which it wasn't in the least. He told me that they didn't come out because they don't do the type of work I was looking to get done. Which is fine, but if that is the case, why did his company tell me that they can do the job when I called and set up an appointment? Why did he tell me via text that he would be out after I inquired about his status after not showing up? What is even more odd is that he claimed he has never texted me nor told me that he was coming out. See the attached confirmation and text message. Reading other reviews, it's clear this isn't the first time something like this happened, but I hope for the sake of future customers, it's the last because they appear to do really good work. I wish them the best and hope future customers have a good experience.

I had an old dishwasher that was really just taking up space. It needed to go. When I was…read morepurchasing a new one, my salesman said to make sure the old one could be easily removed because if it couldn't, the installers would leave and force a reschedule. I appreciated the heads up. I knew I couldn't risk them coming with the new one and leaving without installing it so I called a friend and asked who ahead of time used for stuff like that and she said Columbus Handyman. So, I called and asked if there was someone who could remove the old one. There was, and we scheduled them to come the next day. They came and got that old one out within about a half hour. I was glad I called them because it did not come out easily. They did the work, cleaned up, and voila- the installers came and installed it and took away the old one. (The Columbus Handyman would have taken it but the take-away was part of my total Cost. ). I was really pleased with the swiftness of getting workers to my house to do the work and the fact that the work they did did not break the bank. They can do anything. They are on my list of companies I will call for work going forward.
