Plain and simple, it's a gamble that you'll get what you paid for, but at this price, I had bigger gutters/downspouts and leaf guards added for less than other companies wanted for just a leaf guard. But the inability to complete the contract and then demand payment when I can't afford a lawyer? Does NOT leave a favorable feeling.

I had an old dishwasher that was really just taking up space. It needed to go. When I was…read morepurchasing a new one, my salesman said to make sure the old one could be easily removed because if it couldn't, the installers would leave and force a reschedule. I appreciated the heads up. I knew I couldn't risk them coming with the new one and leaving without installing it so I called a friend and asked who ahead of time used for stuff like that and she said Columbus Handyman. So, I called and asked if there was someone who could remove the old one. There was, and we scheduled them to come the next day. They came and got that old one out within about a half hour. I was glad I called them because it did not come out easily. They did the work, cleaned up, and voila- the installers came and installed it and took away the old one. (The Columbus Handyman would have taken it but the take-away was part of my total Cost. ). I was really pleased with the swiftness of getting workers to my house to do the work and the fact that the work they did did not break the bank. They can do anything. Finally got a text at the last minute to schedule . Two men came out and cleaned the gutters ( I guess they did a good job , I can't get up on a ladder and look). I asked for a leak repair , but they told me it couldn't be repaired , needed replaced .. which is fine . They charged me $275 for gutter cleaning ( kind of high , but ok since I couldn't do it myself) and then another $75 for repair, that was never done . Tried contacting them numerous times to get a refund of $75. No luck .
