Great experience. They even came after we paid them to paint some flashing without us even calling them!

Despite the patio not being treated before winter, then when they did come out it was a terrible finish and another company corrected. The patio is not level in a couple areas and the custom stamp and cuts they made in the patio were not lifted up causing a bubble like look. Also, while completing the project, I called in numerous times to complain, I would have people come out at the end, but after several services calls and nothing accomplished, I finally stopped fighting and said I would leave a review. So there's my reviewMy patio was never finished properly and it makes me very sad as I spent $53,000 so be very careful when hiring the correct pick for your outdoor patio.

They are a horrible,…read moreterrible company filled with people who don't know what they are doing and don't seem to care. They have been given there trys to do a gutter system correctly on my home and I finally turned to another company to get it done properly even though the repair was still under warranty. That's how much I do not trust them. Then they showed up at my neighbor's today and without permission used my driveway as a dumping ground for debris. They took the debris away but left a dirty filthy mess and lots of rusty nails for me to contend with. The guy I tried to talk to on the job site was belligerent and would not stop using my property when asked to do so. I probably had every right to call authorities. I will report them to the appropriate consumer watch dog agency. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I was absolutely convinced I had a major drainage design problem…read more My underground downspout lines drain to the street ditch, and after seeing water back up around a riser pipe, I was certain the issue was a site engineering flaw. In my mind, there were only a few possibilities: the lines needed to be re-pitched, the ditch connection needed to be lowered, or the whole system was somehow hydraulically inadequate. I had this drainage system installed just last fall, so the idea that it could already be clogged seemed impossible. Enter A+ Gutters & Drains. They came out the very same day I called. After I walked them through my highly sophisticated theory of grades, elevations, pitch, and drainage design, we headed to the discharge point at the street ditch. The technician took one look and smiled. "There really shouldn't be a glued-on end cap with a tight grill on it. These tend to back up and clog." "No way. Not already," I replied. "Would you like me to check?" he asked. A few minutes later, after attempting to pry it off with a screwdriver, the cap ultimately had to be cut off with a Sawzall. What was waiting inside? Inches of roof shingle granules, debris, and enough gunk to completely prove my engineering theory wrong. In about five minutes, A+ solved the mystery that I had mentally escalated into a full-scale drainage reconstruction project. To their credit, they graciously cut off the other problematic caps as well and explained why they were destined to clog. No upsell. No unnecessary work. Just an honest diagnosis and a simple fix. As I stood there processing the fact that my "catastrophic drainage failure" was really just a blocked outlet, the technician smiled and said, "Bring on the rain." And with that, he was off. Was my ego slightly bruised? Absolutely. Did A+ save me from chasing an expensive problem that didn't actually exist? Also absolutely. I only wish I had called them first. From now on, A+ Gutters & Drains will be my first call for anything related to gutters, drainage, or water management. Fast response, honest expertise, and a team willing to save customers from their own overthinking. That's a combination that's hard to beat.

PAYING FOR RESULTS, NOT IMAGE…read more Our basement was flooding and it was determined that we needed a new drain line in order for an our sump pump to work correctly. We had a few quotes. Some more than 5K for a 100 foot drain line. When I contacted A+ for an estimate, they beat the nearest estimate by almost $1500 dollars. That's a big savings. What's the difference? The other companies who bid the job showed up in fancy jumpsuits and vinyl laminate work vans with computers inside. The guys from A+ showed up in tshirts and a red station wagon. They were polite, worked very hard, and had the job completed in two days which is what I was estimated. They also showed up to start the job within 1 business days of OUPS flagging the utilities on our property before the dig. I would recommend A+ for anyone looking for quality work at a great price. She got me set for an appointment the next week to fit my busy schedule. Chris was on time and we got down to business. He met with us and answered all our questions about the process. He took pictures, got it submitted to the system that spit out a detailed list of what we needed. Pretty cool. We signed up right away when we saw the price and everything they were going to do. The next step was when they called back to tell us when we would see the crew arrive. Terry was very nice and got us a date when we would not have kids in the house. We got the yard cleaned up so everything was out of the way and would not get damaged by the debris. And there was LOTS of it. But when they left you could not tell there was debris everywhere. Nice clean up job! Be a good human and give them access to a bathroom and get them Gatorade to keep them hydrated. Great job all the way around.

Few weeks ago, a contractor from Able Roof & Exteriors came to my condo unit on behalf of the HOA…read moreto perform what should have been a minor repair to the front entry door jamb. The damage was limited to the bottom portion (less than 3"), which could have been addressed with wood filler or by replacing it with a properly sized jamb section. Initially, I was contacted by phone by "Jacke" from Able Roofing & Exteriors and later by email from "Brian Rheinscheld" (listed as Director of Construction) to schedule the repair. After the contractor completed the work, I later inspected it and found the repair to be a makeshift solution that turned a small issue into a larger one. Instead of using a proper door jamb component with the correct dimensions and features (such as the groove for weatherstripping), the contractor assembled a patch using mismatched pieces of lumber - in a nutshell, the contractor concocted a disparage makeshift out of lumber in order to replace the lower portion of my door jamb. The result is not a proper door jamb and lacks the necessary features and fit. The repair is clearly inadequate, improper and disfiguring (see attached photos) and has created a bigger problem than the original damage. I contacted Able Roofing & Exteriors by phone and email, including reaching out to Brian Rheinscheld, to report the issue and request a resolution. I received no response; in other words, it was completely ignored. Based on this experience, one cannot consider this a reputable, respectable and reliable company. Proceed with any repair, project or construction work involving this company at your own risk and peril.
