I purchased a 2022 Tahoe High Country from them this summer. When you spend 80k+ on a vehicle you expect some customer service. The salesman spent most the day on the phone talking about sports cars. I should have known then it wasn't going to be a good experience. When the deal was finalized, hours later, with the dealership closing I was handed the keys. The car was the owners wife's car or so I was told. It was dirty, out of washer fluid and under a quarter of a tank of gas. It was dinging within 10 minutes of leaving the dealership. Additionally there was less than 1000 miles left on the oil change. 6 months later I am trying to get it inspected and can't because they never put the wheel lock key in the vehicle so they can't take the wheels off. I call the dealership and I am sent an email to a website where I can order one. I have less than 2 weeks until the inspection expires and these clowns did nothing to help with the issue. How do I start... I can't believe I'm writing this 3 weeks into purchasing a vehicle. My wife and I thought we found a perfect vehicle from Murray Motors Chevrolet for our newly expanded family (first newborn). Purchased a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee for $26,000 from their lot from a salesman who had ZERO personality or care for us the customer. Not sure if he didn't care about this sale because it wasn't a brand new vehicle but that shouldn't matter. That should have been our first warning sign. Purchased the vehicle for asking price with no haggle. We did ask if they could match Sunbury Motors trade in value of our vehicle ($500 more) and they flat out said no with no hesitation. Wife fell in love with the vehicle so we purchase it as happy campers. Car sits for a week at our house as we went on vacation, come home and try to plug in a cord to a car seat camera into the cigarette lighter in front console. Doesn't work. Of course I check the fuse and it's okay. I even try a new fuse and nothing. I call Murray Motors and talk to our salesman asking if they would be willing to look at it and fix it since we just purchased it and never tried it at the dealership. We are immediately told, "uhm, I mean we can look at it for you but you will be responsible for the cost of fixing since you purchased as is and didn't also purchase our extended warranty." Our mistake for thinking a larger "reputable" dealership would take the initiative to help out a new customer, especially only a week old. We explained that we just purchased it a week ago but kept getting told we didn't buy the dealerships extended warranty. So we get it fixed from a local mechanics shop. Come another week and I notice an oil trail in our driveway that lead to our new vehicle. Look underneath the car and there are puddles of oil underneath the car with active dripping occurring. I look underneath and the whole bottom of the car is coated in oil with no sense of where it is coming from. Again, I call the dealership asking for help, but again a big mistake as we are told right away that we did not purchase the extended warranty. They insisted that it's either "residual oil" or "we must have hit something." We were also told they we can still buy a warranty from them so they can fix our vehicle. HAHA! Come out the next day and THE OIL IS EMPTY! ZERO LEFT IN THE CAR AND UNABLE TO BE SAFELY DRIVEN WITH OUR NEWBORN! So here we are, two and half weeks after purchasing a new vehicle from Murray Motors and we are again having to take it to another shop to get checked with a major oil leak on our own dime. I want to emphasize that we purchased this vehicle for asking price with no haggling or fighting over lowering the price. We have purchased vehicles from Sunbury Motors, Blaise Alexander, and W&L and NEVER have had any customer service issues. We have noticed small things wrong with the vehicles and called the dealerships and they gladly fixed them with no issues. We were NEVER pressured into buying an extended warranty, or told that we had to buy one for them to even think about fixing the issues. Warning to future buyers, BUY THE WARRANTY! UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ARE PURCHASING VEHICLES "AS IS", NO MATTER WHAT MAY BE WRONG THAT YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT! MAKE SURE YOU CHECK EVERY SINGLE DARN ASPECT OF THE VEHICLE! My vehicle was at their service center, I asked the service manager to call me and update me at the end of the day. They expressed how paramount it was, that they informed me of what was going on due to the fact that it affected my holiday travel plans. I understand if they couldn't finish the vehicle, but I needed to be informed as to where I stood. they were in capable of pulling off the simple task. I would never do business with them again! Their hours online are 530 and I tried to call them at 5:15. No answer in a department tried many times until 530 with no success. read more

I bought a car from them. and the vehicle came with problems and they don't want to be responsible for it, it came with the engine light on and it turned on the same day I bought it. the battery was bad and the cluche did not last even 3 weeks and they say that it was me who damaged it and that I have to pay for it. It's been about 2 months and they still haven't fixed anything for me. I tried to talk to the general manager and he's never here and until today's sun they haven't even called me to tell me to die. read more

Brand new 65,000 dollar truck take it to them with just under 300 miles for a piece of trim that was defective they gouged my door panel and dented my door and the problem still isn't fixed. The low coolant light came on I added coolant 3 times to a total of 1& 1/2 gallons they keep saying there is no leak now there is oil in the coolant take it back and there service managers answer is they must have added contaminated coolant so now I'm sitting without my truck waiting for them to fix it or screw something else up read more

Bought a 2016 2500. Got home that night. Suspension was so bad I got a concussion from the ride. Only got 1 key, no owners manual. Never told this til papers signed. Suspension was aweful, CV angles are jacked up. Called them less than 24 hrs and refused to help do a buy back. I even offered to buy a new vehicle. Adam the salesmen always states he would check and call back.. never heard from him again. Unprofessionalism at its finest. No care or compassion just the mighty dollar! Now for the time being I have a 40k dollar lawn ornament. Go somewhere else I will. Shame I cant give them 0 stars. read more

I wouldn't buy a vehicle from this dealer if you are out of state. They use this joke of a company called Reg USA... needless to say my 90k dollar work truck is going to sit for god knows how long. Poor service don't recommend to anyone. When you buy a vechicle from them they said to me yes they would fix the tailgate. There fix was taking a pen to the the tailgate which made it look even worse then it was before. Then I decided to say that they needed to fix it right as they said they would. The owner then was very rude telling me they don't need to fix it. So decided ok I will use my free oil opertunity that gm offers buying a pre owned vechicle they didn't tighten the oil cap on the oil pan oil went everywhere will not return to them ever again read more

Most likely was the worst buying experiences I've had. And I buy alot of high end Cars. I was buying a 2017 CTS-V.Used they retail around $50-80k. I called the dealership out of PA and had him do a walkaround and tell me about any blemishes. He said none. I had him send me videos but they were so blurry I could not make out anything. I flew in from Indiana based on his description. The front bumper had chips all over it, the front spoiler was trashed, has a bulge on the drivers side tire, missing the engine cover, ding on the roof, chipping paint around the hd vent. 2qt low oil. I asked for some money off and they said it was used. What's worse I went ahead and bought so I could drive home and the transmission is slipping. I'm possibly going to file suit against this dealer. Also the employees are some of the most low life individuals you will ever deal with. Especially the General Manager. Wouldn't even look at me as he screwed me over. Low life scum bag used car salesman. AVOID read more

Came here to by a newer vehicle we made a deal on a 2015 that has bumper to bumper warranty and they agreed to fix the truck of a rust spot on tailgate and on the front bumper I would not recommend anyone to go to this place. They made me take the vechicle even though it was to be fix. Overall it was a terrible experience read more

Buyer beware of this place!!!! We bought a vehicle here in November of 2019. We drove it off the lot and about 5 miles down the road a sensor came on saying I had 24 lbs. of pressure left in my rear left side tire. The sales rep took the vehicle to fill it up with gas prior to us driving it off the lot so he had to of seen the indicator and dismissed it. We drove it home thinking it just lost pressure from sitting on the lot and it went unnoticed. In the days ahead, the tire would not hold air and come to find out there is a major crack in the rim. In the initial call our sales rep said there is nothing we can do. He called back a little bit later and said to bring it in. I took it back down to them and they said there is no way that this crack was there prior to the sale. The service man was very condescending and could not look me in the eye when he was speaking to me. I also requested a second key (assuming the fob was included) and was told that I would receive it within 7-10 days of purchasing it. I got a second key only because the locks on the vehicle were set according to the previous owners comfort and locked automatically when the door shut.....so my only set of keys were locked inside the first day we owned the car. They sent someone to create a new key and when I asked if that would be considered my second key, Ryan in sales, and my sales guy, told me that I would still be getting another in the mail with in 10 days. As of January 1st 2020 I had not yet received the key and fob. I called Ryan and he said he would call me back with a tracking number because his records showed it was delivered to my home. I wanted the tracking number to check myself and speak with our UPS/FEDEX driver to see where he put it on our property since it wasn't anywhere obvious. Ryan never called back. I called and spoke with Brian in Parts and he doesn't keep tracking numbers (good service) but since I didn't receive it, he would send it again AND call me back with the tracking number....that was January 10th, 2020. I called back today to get the tracking number and turns out they didn't send it because it wasn't included in the deal and I already got a "free" rim. They are liars and if they tell you they will do something, they probably won't. I am in the service business myself and need to go home every day knowing I did the absolute best by my clients and I expect the same. We paid them 38,000.00 for a vehicle and I can't even get a duplicate key fob. I've bought many cars and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had. read more

Found a truck at this dealership and being 200 miles away, I wanted settle on the principals of the deal , and have the majority of the paperwork completed before I drove the 200 miles to the dealership. The sales individual was fine, but the problem lies with the manager. This dealership uses the KBB instant cash offers to appraise vehicles online. The manager waffled on the appraisal and would not take a deposit I wanted to place on the truck until I arrived. The term "first come/first served" was thrown out and the truck was subsequently sold. Buying a vehicle is the second biggest purchase in life for most of us, and the sales manager at Murray Motors validates the bad reputation most car dealerships have earned. read more
