Vehicle I bought was awesome but, service department is trained to up sell and rip you off.

I bought a truck from a different state so I was relying on the sales team to be honest with me on condition of the car. I asked if there was any smells or rust I should be aware of. While they did take pictures and even FaceTime me, they would move the camera away from areas for me not to see. I had the vehicle delivered, which they delayed on their end that ended up costing me more money. I can definitely tell it's a smokers car based on the smell alone but also the cigarette burn in the headliner. My fault for trying to trust this team being remote. read more

I bought a prius from this dealership a few years ago. Not the best transaction, but not the worst either. I start looking at cars and find out they have a few I'm interested in. I reach out and someone responds the next day. I respond and receive a notification that my email is undeliverable. I send another one in case it is a fluke and contact them through live chat about the issue. The person has no idea who the person is who contacted me but agrees to pass my info along. A few days later the original person writes again but clearly didn't get my emails. I try again and one finally goes through. They agree to forward my questions to someone else. A couple days go by and another person writes with their introduction email. No answers to my questions. At this point I'm frustrated at the amount of effort I have to put in for a few simple answers and move on. This is a great place if you want to end up in a cycle of time wasting. If you actually want to buy a car, call and hope to get someone competent or look elsewhere. read more

When running a VIN check and service schedule on a 2019 Honda Civic Aubrey Alexander had for sale, I found that the mileage was 10K more than their listing, the vehicle had a recall for the fuel pump, it was due to have all the fluids flushed and new brakes. All of which would cost approx. $1,500-$2,000 after purchasing the car. The person I alerted agreed it should affect the final price. However, the salesmen refused to budge on the price. I found him to be someone brash and unyielding. A sales manager did call me and was more pleasant to speak with. I told him I'd buy the car if the necessary service work was completed. I was basically told Aubrey Alexander would not put one more penny into the car. I feel sorry for the person who bought the car & has to put $$$ into it. Sometimes, what seems like a good deal, isn't a good deal. Pretty shady. Even though I live near the Muncy dealership & have purchased a vehicle from Blaise in the past, it's well known that they will NOT budge on price unless they're advertising "price match guarantee". They begrudgingly price matched on a Subaru Outback when there was still 0% financing. However, we could not get the 0% financing because that's usually tacked onto the final price of a vehicle. People think 0% financing is great until they realize they're actually paying more for a vehicle to get it. read more

I purchased a 2018 Toyota Tundra there. My wife had purchased four new Toyotas over the years there. I didn't even have 200 miles on the truck the fuel computer went out. After telling me at the time of purchase I had a one year warranty on the vehicle they told me it wasn't covered. After paying almost 800 dollars to get the truck running again my wife was driving the truck home and the ac was not working. She returned to the dealer and they said it would cost 1100 dollars to fix the ac which was working when I brought it in for the other repair. My truck was clean, went through the dealership's gazillion point checklist, and fueled before I took delivery. The manager wanted to play some hardball in the final negotiation but that's his job. I would not have given them 2 stars if the salesmen weren't so rude. First I said I was leav if they couldn't lower the price, unexpectedly, the salesman stood up in a huff, gathered his paperwork and stormed off the sales floor. Ok, no problem, I expected him not to be too happy. I negotiated with a manager and compromised on a price. The salesman returned and graciously started filling out the paperwork. So why the two stars? Read on, it gets better! I walked down a hallway to a room where the salesmen did their paperwork, respectfully knocked on the door to inform my salesman to transfer my trade-in vehicle's license plate to the new car. The door was opened by another salesman who said "you're not allowed in the hallway" and I asked if he would tell my salesman my concern. With an evil grin he repeated himself AND SHOVED ME BACK! Thinking he might be kidding, he repeated himself and was about to shove me again and I said "don't touch me, and as he aggressively moved towards me I stated several more times not to touch me again! I turned around and asked for his manager and someone said he was and all he said was I wasn't allowed in the hallway. I did purchase a car from there, but I never will again. The technicians are sloppy and untrained. The assistant service manager covers for them by lying to the customer about the completed service. Especially when it comes to alignment. He would flash a printout with all the wheels in green indicating that the alignment was good when it wasn't. He doesn't give you the printout. The technician didn't like my floor mat, so threw it away. One felt that installing brake shims that weren't installed before was beneath him. So he broke the plastic rocker panel because it was in his way. I will never go there again for even the simplistic work. Let alone for something like a Prius head gasket. read more

(Review with update) Disappointment. One of the most disappointing purchase experiences of my life (and yes, I've purchased both new and used vehicles previously). I wouldn't recommend patronage here for anyone. Wish I would've given more credence to the lower ratings for this dealership, instead of giving them a chance. I don't know if it's something involving gender and bias or if it's an all around disregard for respect and due diligence. That being said selling a vehicle with a mechanical power-train issue and not verifying the condition of a vehicle, especially when explicitly asked it be serviced before receipt, is in my opinion negligent or a form of information withholding which isn't acceptable and could be construed by some as fraudulent in some manner. I wouldn't have purchased the vehicle had I known there wasn't a diligence by sales to verify the vehicle condition and proper disclosure of mileage, accessories (missing second key), pride of presentation, also the diminished value. Finding out after the fact or via a state inspection of issues or missing items is not acceptable behavior, even in the car sales arena. Additional note: They did pick up the vehicle for repair, which turned out to be under the manufacturer power-train warranty, took a really long time to get it completed (2-3 weeks). Additionally, the loaner was not only not comparable, but was also in poor mechanical and physical condition, but was also dirty on the inside (I didn't feel safe). Also, when I did finally receive my vehicle back from the repair not only did they not provide the receipt/record of repair but the vehicle was not clean, specifically the interior (which is just icing on the cake, given that it was clean when picked up for repair). Really, I didn't ask for anything unusual, just basic respect and integrity. Finally, when the first sales person did call me back (sales) they actually scolded and spoke down to me, as though I was stupid and I was at fault because of their lack of due diligence, instead of trying to come to a reasonable resolution with respect. Management's response was placating and condescending without action or resolution. Action is as important as words and inaction, lip service and disrespect of customers speak volumes. Service staff were professional in my interactions with them. Disclaimer: Based on a personal experience, feelings and opinions as supported by the actual events and findings documented by the state inspection process. The vehicle, from date of purchase until completed repair was only driven home and to a state inspection where issues were immediately noted. Why this dealership didn't make the effort to check the vehicle condition (explicitly requested by the way) before sale I can't say, but the entire experience was a true disappointment. Update: While I appreciate the response to this post, please note that there were similar vehicles offered at and even below the purchase price of the vehicle, even a certified pre-owned one only a couple hours farther away, so the claim that the pricing was not within a reasonable market value isn't without consideration of recommended versus actual value and cost. The single key was not disclosed until afterwards and a visible oil leak and power train matter are not small items in my opinion, especially when there was no record on the Carfax of it being looked at before being picked up, only the prior service months/weeks prior. Furthermore, for good customer service I should've received outreach without initiation on my part if there were true compassion or concern, and perhaps a proposed resolution to prevent this in the future for others. Also, I personally don't think it would've taken me 2+weeks to get it repaired and it wouldn't have been dirty when returned to me (where's the pride). Anyhow, for me this location has given the entire Alexander chain (Blaise Alexander) a bad name. read more

But they calling me every month and telling me that I need service when I don't is over the top. When I don't respond coming to their service place then they started calling me threatening me that my inspection was overdue or do. Even though I am sitting here looking at the sticker on my car that says August they are telling me that by the end of June I will be put in jail. Extremely disappointed with the purchase of my new RAV4... I had ordered my cat and was told via an email I would receive an additional $1000 on my trade in, however, when I went to pick up my vehicle, Aubrey Alexander only offered 1/2 of said amount. The salesman had provided me very poor orientation to the vehicle (hybrid limited with many bells and whistles)... and had no clue what button to push when in snow. The gentleman he was orienting looked it up on his cell phone. The vehicle had no wind shield washer fluid and to top it all off, I drove 35 min to my home WITHOUT a license plate! (The orientee drove it to my house and was able to get my radio connected to my phone correctly at that time) I have made at least 10 calls to General Manager and have yet to have my call returned. I have purchased several new vehicles in my life and have never experienced such poor customer service. read more

My experience with the service department was horrible. My tundra had a frame recall. I took it there and wish I wouldn't have. I got it back, after they installed a new frame. I put less than 100 miles on it and parts broke. They didn't stand behind their work, all the costs were pushed my way. Stewart was the person I dealt with and he would never return my calls after I would try to reach out to him. Multiple times he would tell the person I was on the phone with "he would give me a call back" and it would never happen. I'd call the next day. He would tell the person person the same thing and I wouldn't hear anything from him. This went on for a week! Finally he told me my truck would be finished on a certain day. Here it is 4 days later. Trucks still not done. Save your time and sanity and go somewhere else to have your vehicle serviced. read more

1 star is more than enough to say the least...about 3 years ago I purchased a 2015 Chevy Cruze from them. Was told there was nothing wrong, but every year since then it's been in the shop, especially this year, which up until this past Friday (November 26, 2021) it's been in the shop at least 3 times. When a customer has concerns about their car and it NOT be properly fixed and figuring it out not even having the car more than 2 hours AFTER getting it back, when you call all you get is attitude...well this last time was literally the last, went to Bobby Rahal Toyota (spectacular customer service by far and very kind staff all which ways around!) to trade it in! A few months prior they made a scene in the sales room AFTER the deal was to put me in a more reliable vehicle, turns out they lied and refused to allow me to trade my car in, staff threatened me that if I left any bad review whether it was on social media, Yelp, BBB, etc they refuse then to do any favors (which none of which happened because everything replaced was already covered under my extended warranty), so here it is, I'm sick and tired of being treated as a number just so staff here gets a paycheck! Please beware of this company as if you're not store manager they really don't care. So if you want to buy a Toyota from an outstanding business this is not the place by far! Go the distance to Bobby Rahal Toyota in Mechanicsburg! If they try to attempt to take across other family members, they have also been made aware, so I hope that this review gets something done that's worth while that they don't treat their customers like dirt and only a paycheck in their pockets, because I mean let's be real, don't we all need a paycheck at the end of the day? read more
