My daughter joined the club…read moreexcited about developing as a player and pursuing the opportunity to compete for a USA Volleyball Nationals bid, which was an important factor in our decision to join. Unfortunately, after the season began & commitments were signed, the coaches ultimately decided not pursue USA Nationals despite our understanding that it was a possibility communicated to families if the team earned a bid. Throughout the season, we found that asking respectful questions about athlete development, practice structure, and team plans was often met with avoidance & defensiveness rather than open communication. As parents, we believe questions should be welcomed and addressed professionally. As the season progressed, we experienced increasing communication difficulties, inconsistent expectations, and what we felt was a lack of transparency regarding decisions affecting our daughter. When we attempted to work through concerns with club leadership, we did not feel they were meaningfully resolved. Ultimately, our daughter was removed from the team with only two tournaments remaining, which was devastating to our athlete & has affected her desire to continue the sport. Every family's experience may be different, and many athletes may have positive experiences here. However, we encourage prospective families to ask detailed questions before committing, including: - How decisions regarding USA Volleyball Nationals are made and communicated. - How parent concerns are handled. - What the process is for resolving disagreements with coaches. - How athlete development opportunities are managed when concerns arise. Our hope in sharing this review is not to discourage athletes from pursuing volleyball, but to encourage transparency and communication so other families can make informed decisions. We sincerely wish all of the athletes the best and hope every player has a positive and supportive club experience.

After the first day, my 8-year-old son was so excited he talked about the camp all the way home. My teenage boy acted like a teenager and said "its cool." The best part about the Brusa volleyball program is how the coaches and staff members interact with all the kids at all ages. The ownership did a phenomenal job putting together a great coaching staff. My 8 year old son is now part of the Future Star Program and the excitement has continued to grow everyday. I live here. I've been attending games here for almost 20 years. Nothing has changed! It's dusty…read morefrom the makeshift dirty unpaved parking lot. It's a sad day when you have to make plans to wash your car around the games. I've always had to think....Hmmmm, will I have to park at Pony Fields, after I wash my car???? If you do, don't bother cleaning it because it will come out dirty. There's probably about 100 spaces in the fenced in paved area with ONLY 3-4 handicap spots. Get here early if you don't want to drive your fancy car onto the dirt and pot-holed rocky filled, dirt lot. You can also take the chance of parking on the street but trying to unload Littles and baseball gear and crossing the busy street, WILL add to your stress and challenge. Pony fields sometimes charge a fee to enter. I don't know why. It's not a park worth coming into. What can I say? It's dirty, dusty and no shelter from wind or dust storms that seem to pick up every single night we are here. Trees are few and far between so bring your EZ Ups and be prepared to batten them down. It's windy here and will catch you off guard. I think the owners of this field need to invest some serious money and rebuild this park. The outhouses scattered about in the field are always so STINKY! When the wind picks up, trust me, you will need nose protection. It is unbearable. It probably isn't healthy to breathe this mess. Poor kids running around this field come home and need to be dunked in a tub. It's that dirty. True. It's a baseball field, but for those of us NOT playing baseball, spectators.... we shouldn't have to feel we went through a dust storm, at every visit. Do not park along the backside of the fields or you will get hit. So that takes away about 10-15 paved spots. On the plus side, the snack bar is reasonable. There are a few wooden picnic tables. Also, hilly patches of grass to sit on. Don't plan to lay a blanket down anywhere for the kids. It's pretty dirty. Dogs and pets are not allowed! Starbucks, McDonalds, Chic-Filet, Jack in the Box, Walmart, Target, and many others, are within 3-5 miles. In the 23 years I've lived in Murrieta, I will say this is the worst baseball park I have taken the kids to. It really needs to be improved. No stars would be my best rating. I am forced to give it 1. Really not deserving of even 1.

FIGS is NOT about "how many people can I pack into my club and take club fees and move on." They are very family oriented and care about the players. Not only do they take the time to get to know the girls but the parents as well. I love that they actually care about the players improving their volleyball skills and working with the players to meet their goals- not just letting them make the same mistakes over and over. The facility has everything a player needs to be a great volleyball player including top elite coaching and an amazing culture. It seemed like finding a club that didn't have drama or a toxic culture wouldn't be possible until we met Juanchi. FIGS was highly recommended to us by friends for a while, and I'm glad we finally found our volleyball home. I could go on forever about all the great things this club has to offer. You couldn't find a better club than FIGS and their coaches. They are a very honest and straightforward volleyball club. There's no gimmicks or distractions. You're there to work with the best, be the best and play against the best! They have such amazing credentials and professional background in all their areas of expertise-- you won't be disappointed and happy that at the end of the season you have money and time well spent and not just a tournament T shirt and an empty bank account. At first, we were impressed with the cost of the club and what appeared to be the dedication of the board of directors. Unfortunately, Alexx broke off from the club and with it took approximately $1000k of our dollars with him. I reported this to the Board and they quickly reimbursed us but we still saw Alexx around. Wondering how someone can steal money and yet not be held accountable? With that behind us we planned to move forward with the club. My husband and I coached and team managed our team for 2 years. We spent hours of our personal time and finances building a team family. As a team manager, I always wanted to give my parents what they paid for and what they worked for. During the 2015 Fall season, parents came to our first place team and paid their fees. Whenever I asked the club to deliver jerseys or practice shirts they either ignored my requests or they simply told me no. Parents were upset and I didn't blame them! After our team participated in a fundraiser through Goodwill, our sponsor check sat in the club mailbox for over a month. After we finally got the money, the club president asked for it back after we already dispersed the money to the parents and players who worked so hard for that money claiming a mistake. Wow. Disappointing! Our team jackets took months to get together. At the last minute the president informed me that the Club wouldn't be ordering them for us. He informed me that I had to use my personal credit card for the team purchase. This was horrible as we incurred extra charges related to shipping and handling and taxes that would normally be incurred by the club. We finally got our practice jerseys at the end of October with 4 games left. These guys don't give crap about you unless you're one of their friends. My hubby and our girls HAD to make the tough decision to LEAVE this club because nothing we needed was provided timely. Players were sent to the last place team instead of our team, the first place team. This club only supports their "friends". They allow shady characters like Alexx Pachon who steal from hard working families and 90 year old men who claim to have played professional soccer to linger around minor children. Go to Temecula or Murrieta. This club is no good. Check their stats. Don't be fooled by the cheap price tag. You get what you pay for. Their fields are a joke. The grass is not tended and there are giant holes in the ground. No thanks.

Beware! Bullying and harassment! This review is regarding…read morethe competitive side. -3 bully girls on my child's team shoved the other 4 girls daily, smacked other athletes in the face & head, punched my child in the stomach, repeatedly put their fingers in her face & bossed her around. They annoyed, bullied, harassed & threw equipment at her & others. They also rolled around & laid on mats in others stations so the girls who actually wanted to train couldn't. The bullies are there for free play time & to harass & annoy others, not gymnastics. The only coach that addressed the issue is no longer employed @the gym. How these girls are on team is a mystery to me. -my child's coaches didn't correct form until the season was over. They also barked orders that the girls didn't understand & neglected to explain. -office staff is rude & speak disparagingly about parents & coaches. -don't ask for a meeting to discuss issues, you'll be ignored. -the gym owner checked out of his business for a solid year. -they don't respect safe sport policies. They defy the policies when they allow bullying & harassment. They ignored policies when they attempted to silence me out of discussing my concerns. They defied the policies when they retaliated against my child & myself by ejecting her from the program for her mom expressing concerns regarding the bullying & asking for resolution. -they drastically changed our schedule 3 times last year with no regard for our personal lives. -the bully girls, despite their conduct, treatment of others & poor scores at competition were still moved up, leaving the good athletes who are well behaved & actually want to train to deal with their harassment another year. This caused endeavor to lose several amazing athletes. -I provided the gym owner the dates, times & station where bullying took place so he could pull camera footage, I was ignored. If I wanted my daughter to have free play time & be annoyed by kids with bad behavior I would take her to the park & save my money. I paid $375/ mo for my daughter to learn gymnastics, not for her spirit to be broken & walk out of the gym crying, expressing that she no longer loved gymnastics & wanted a new gym. I'm happy for the parents whose children were fortunate enough to land on a supportive team w/ a coach that corrects negative behavior but we didn't get that. Endeavor coaches had no problem sending my child off the floor for crying (which I support) but wouldn't send bullies off the floor for physically assaulting teammates. I guess my money wasn't as green as theirs. That is a lot of money to spend for a great portion of the classes being the bullies shoving athletes to the back of the line, instigating arguments, fighting for front of the line just to throw their hair around in my daughters face to irritate her, or stand on a block holding up the line because they don't know what to do because they don't listen to the coaches. The bullies had bad attitudes, throwing a fit if they were asked to take a picture or if a teammate tried to hug them. It's impossible to thrive in such an environment. One of the bullies annoyed my daughter on the sidelines at a competition, on her back poking her, causing her to trip going into her tumbling pass, two coaches stood there and did nothing, yet my daughter is expected to perform well. My daughter has since trialed several gyms & was welcomed into environments with supportive, friendly, encouraging teammates and I watched in amazement as I saw my once confident athlete return to her prior glory. It's amazing how the environment plays a role in how an athlete performs. We're now fixing what endeavor broke in my daughter: her spirit. Thank you, endeavor, for showing us what a gym should not be. Pretty sad when your greatest asset is air conditioning. Going back I wish I would have recorded all the times the girls put their fingers in my daughters face, shook their hair in her face to irritate her, punched her in the stomach, threw things at her, yelled at her, etc. This is a healthy training environment? What a joke! This is embarrassing & frankly insulting that they placed my daughter & other strong athletes in a group with such nonsense. If the bullies spent as much time working on skills as they did fighting to be 1st in line they might actually be successful. Be forewarned, if you come here & happen to get a good group then good for you, but if you end up in a group like this they will do absolutely nothing to resolve it. *edited to add that yelp wont allow me to post the video of 1 of the bullies smacking a teammate in the face but im happy to provide it to anyone interested. Of course endeavor would want my videos of negative behavior removed. I hope the bullies &their parents are embarrassed. I hope they remember that while their disgusting behavior ruined my child's experience, she continued to cheer for & celebrate them. You can try to silence me, endeavor, but just like at competition, you'll fail.

The Endeavor coaches have gone above and beyond in making my child feel supported, loved, and motivated to succeed in not just gymnastics, but life in general. The gym also does a fantastic job making everyone feel like family and fostering strong friendships between the children. This undoubtedly has to do with their uncanny ability to weed out the problematic parents who act like they are on the season finale of "Dance Moms" or "Cheer Perfection" that plague other competitive gyms. In all these years, the instructor has kept her prices low even though she could charge a lot more and has expanded to include different/extra classes as well as making sure she adds new dance elements and implements to their dances to keep things new and fresh. We love the girls at the main office, especially Michelle and Zebbie, they are both always so friendly and helpful if you ever need anything. The city of Murrieta offers so many affordable classes for children and adults, highly recommend! Everyone outside of the city of Murrieta is welcomed as well, you just pay an extra small non-residential fee.
