So I called to see if I can get same-day tailoring done and the owner was very understanding and said yes. Say no more, I'm on my way! I frantically needed one pair of store-bought pants to be altered and hemmed before an important meeting the following day. I stopped in with both of my young sons, two pairs of pants in hand, and was able to be fitted in both before I was promised availability to pick up the same afternoon. He's really quick at getting things done. A little pricey compared to where I used to take my clothes (back home in Fresno) he charges almost double what I used to pay. When it comes to denim (jeans & shorts) he never gets it right. He takes it from the back and inseam when I feel like it would look and fit better if taken in from the outside seams. I would suggest that he takes it in from the sides and he argues that no, it'll fit doing it "his" way. Needless to say, I have extra space around my butt area on every pair of denim he has done. Hence the negative star. When it comes to skirts and dresses, he's great at that! Then again, most of my dresses are cotton so it should be easy for anyone to take in on the sides. It's the closest to me, nothing compared to how my old alteration place but it's convenient. read more

Last minute I needed a boy's suit jacket shortened on length and sleeves. It was 3:40 and I saw that he closes at 4 so I called to see if I arrived at 4 if he could help. He was so nice and said he would wait and not to worry. By the time I got on the road and started driving I realized it would be about 4:15 so I called again and again he said he would wait and to drive safe. My son was feeling ill when we arrived and the gentleman was so sweet and gentle with him, assuring him that he was almost done and was kind to him when he asked him to move this way or that way. Even suggesting watermelon for his headache. Then when it can't time to pick up, he had it ready earlier and he called to let me know as I had asked.
