First time going to this location. We were late to our session but the instructor was just covering the mixing paint techniques. I had to call their main line because that is the only number available, three times and then left a message to let them know we will be late. Someone eventually calls us back and said it would be okay and we wouldn't miss our session. The table set ups are horrible, like why would you have chairs with the backs facing the instructor ?? So then you have to turn with the Canvas in your hands and paint at the same time!Also the Canvases are so small ; 11x14 is comical compared to other places we been to and for $40 seems like a rip off. The instructor was moving at lighting speed. Lastly, the classroom we sat in was in the same room as where they have the bar and kitchen to purchase. Mad rush came in half way through our class and we couldn't hear the instructor at all while we sat in the back. Do not recommend. read more

Eddie was super energetic and so upbeat that the entire room was feeding off of his positive vibes. A really cool graffiti artist, Eddie led us through the session with such great instructions and encouragement that even those who've never painted were able to create beautiful art. There was also the option to buy art from other sessions and from the instructors themselves. The food wasn't too bad and was the average food you'd expect: wings, mozzarella sticks, pretzel bites, hummus, etc. But they were great little snacks. The drinks were decent as well. They had a Mother's Day special for drinks and food. Overall, it was a great experience, even more so because of our teriffic instructor! Best sleeper surprise. Who knew that this would be the best fam activity for a wedding anniversary. It leveled the field since it was all completely new to all of us. The anniversary celebrants could not believe that they created such special pieces of art. Kate was amazing as she explained step by step. There bar was flowing with beverages. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed so we brought our own snacks. They had more than ample supplies and had an assistant going around to provide any extra support. I have been wanting to come here for YEARS but none of my friends ever wanted to go, so that's why I made new friends who DID! Lol Registering for a class is simple: you go on their website and select the location closest to you. After you pick your desired location, you are presented with a class schedule and the painting associated with it. They offer A LOT of classes, which is great. I'm sure anyone can find a time that works with their schedule. My friends and I were pretty flexible so we decided to choose based on the painting. We narrowed it down to the butterfly painting or the elephant. We ended up going with the butterfly b/c that class was sooner (the following week) whereas the elephant class was weeks away. Most classes are $35 per person, tax included. The entire group does not need to book together at once, everyone can book separately however, the first person who books, must send their reservation link to everyone in their group in order to be seated together. Muse is located on Franklin Ave, right next door to Revel Restaurant. There is a huge parking lot in the back, so parking won't be an issue. Their doors open an hour before class time and you can order some drinks or food and just settle in. I arrived 30 minutes before my class and my friend and I started walking around and looking at all the paintings hung up in the main room. Two guys welcomed us and asked if this was our first class. After chatting for a bit, we came to the realization that we were not registered for the class in the main room but for a smaller class in the back room. The guys teaching that class seemed really fun and nice, I want to say their names were Jason & Alvin but I could be wrong. So make sure you double check if you are in the correct room since they hold multiple classes at once. After finding our correct classroom, we went back to the main room to purchase drinks and food. The bar is located in the back of the main studio. There wasn't much of a selection: wine, soft drinks, pretzels, mozzarella sticks - you get the idea. Alvin was working the bar and when I asked about the sangria, he offered me a sample to try before I committed to a glass. I ended up getting a Prosecco and pretzels. I only had 4 people in my group so we had one entire table to ourselves. My instructor was Grace and she was very pleasant. Grace was very thorough and explained each step along the way. If you want additional food or drinks in the middle of class, you can scan a QR code on your table and order the food directly from your seat. I did order a bottle of Moscato later on but skipped on food. When class was over, Grace asked if there was anyone celebrating a birthday and one woman raised her hand. Grace then let her choose one painting from the studio collection for her to take home, which I thought was cute. Overall I had a great time. One of my friends was trying to flex on me all night with her painting skills but my less than perfect painting has character and some war scars. Pro-tip: be very careful with your brush. I kept getting random strokes of paint on my painting by accident. But if that does happen, just use a matching color and blend it out. This might be easier for the ladies since we know how to use concealer and how to blend our makeup. I would definitely come again! I saw they also had some Disney paintings, like Maleficent, my favorite villain of all time, which I would love to paint. I hope in the future they also have a full bar and more food too. read more

I've been here twice and am going a third time soon! (It is already booked!) I bring/have brought my friends and family here. It's always a fun and new experience. From the parking lot one can access the rear entrance. Visible from there are some "rooms" w/ easels - they're mainly used for private parties. If you have 10 or was it 12 ppl minimum, you can book/reserve one of those. As you continue further down, there hallway veers to the left and there's a corridor w/ bathrooms to the left, a mess sink straight ahead, and the main painting studio to the right. The main painting studio is much larger than the two party rooms. There are aprons on the wall that leads up to the bar. The main entrance (Franklin/Mineola) goes into the large painting studio.There is a stage at the middle of the space opposite the bar. This is where the instructor does their thing. Classes are always welcoming, humorous, and fun. Admission is usually $35.00 per class, which also gives you a free drink (either: house red or white or anything from the top shelf). Their house red wine is good, and their top shelf bloobzbeer is tasty too. So far, I've been too cheap to buy any eats (they have snacks) and anything not on the top shelf.
