I never feel too much pressure to get my painting perfect but they are always willing to come around and help and will if you want it. Great music and vibe! Their selection for food and drinks is surprisingly delicious and different considering the setting. Definitely worth a visit for a date night or with a group.

We did a tree that's on a structure in the middle of the water. They have a bunch of different food options that you can get while you paint & obviously a bar so you can drink n paint. They have a wide variety of cocktails, shots, wine, and craft beers. Aside from alcohol they also offer non alcoholic beverages for those who don't drink. One cool thing that they offer is alcohol infused ice cream A great way to spruce up your paint night haha The downside is you cannot BYOB and some of their menu items are expensive which was a big deterrent from me ordering food and more than 1 drink. The instructor was very nice but she was a bit hard to follow at times which could be a bit stressful BUT most people are there for fun and don't care to have a perfect painting (specifically for the black light neon classes IMO) BUTTTT I'm sure many people want their paintings to look good. I feel as if this black light class may have been a bit more fun oriented and that's why it was a bit faster and I often found myself lagging behind. I still had a great time though and again, it was my first time painting so I was going to be a bit slower regardless Overall, my friends and I had a great time and I would definitely give them another try !

A highly recommended activity for your next event, fundraiser,…read morebachelorette, etc. This is an amazing private "paint night" experience that goes where you need them to go. I hired Happy Little Brush Strokes as a painting activity for a bachelorette party, and the company was so easy to work with from start to finish. I reserved my date several months in advance because their calendar fills up quickly! You're able to choose one of the paintings from their website and adapt it to what you need. I chose to paint full-sized wine bottles (and place fairy lights inside of the bottle so it lights up!) since the bachelorette party was "wine themed." The price was $30 per person for the experience. I believe if you choose to paint a canvas, it's $25 per person. Happy Little Brush Strokes came all the way out to Greenport, Long Island to do this activity. The instructor, Bob, was an absolute delight, who was filled with so much positive energy! He provided everything we needed for the event (paint, brushes, water cups, the wine bottles, fairy lights). The only thing we needed to provide were tables, table cloths, and chairs for our group of 7. The experience took just over two hours, and everyone had an amazing time!

I went to Gallery 25 on 2/1/25 to have some vintage baseball cards framed. I met Chris, who is a…read morevery friendly guy and will talk your ears off. Chris told me that this would take 2 weeks to complete. If by 2 weeks, he meant 10 weeks, then it was 2 weeks. No matter how many times I called, nobody EVER picks up the phone, so I had to keep going in to his shop (I live 25 minutes away). I asked to have pictures of the unfinished product sent to me before the work was completed to make sure I liked it, and everything was the way I wanted it (spacing, borders, colors, etc.) After 8 weeks, I finally got an email of the pictures, and it was wrong so the layout had to be changed. Finally, after 10 weeks, after the changes, I picked up the frame. Then, I gave him much more expensive cards ($2,000) to frame and told him that this can't take 10 weeks. He assured me that this time it would only take two weeks. I told him that this frame had to be the same size as the last one since I would be displaying them together. I called after 2 weeks to see if it was done, and as usual, nobody picked up the phone, so I left a message. I said the same thing as before. Make sure you send me pictures before you seal up the frame. Of course, nobody called me back, I called 4 more times that week, left 4 more messages...not ONE call back. Then, suddenly, I get an email that the frame is done. I went in and picked it up, brought it home and noticed that not only was this frame bigger than the first one, but the borders/frames around the cards were MUCH bigger than the first ones, so the white borders of the cards could not be seen. It made the cards look much smaller. They do not look like real baseball cards; they look like imitations and copies that I've seen online. The spacing of the cards in relation to the engraved plaque was off as well. I emailed Chris again (since there is no point in calling), and he told me that he was NOT going to redo the piece and it looked just fine to him. He didn't even want to hear what the issues were. It could have been a small fix. I would have even been willing to keep the larger frame but at least change the borders around the cards to they look real. Maybe it looked fine to him, but he is in the framing business, not the baseball card business. It was not what I wanted or asked for. You can see the difference in the 2 pieces. One has a slight orange frame around the card for a nice hint of color, while you can still see the white borders, and the other where the white borders are completely covered up and there is a dominating large gray frame around the card. The two look nothing alike. I was going to sue him but it wasn't worth the filing fees, or my time for $230, which I never even got a receipt for since I paid cash. So, if you want to wait 4 times longer than it should normally take for your merchandise to be completed, have your calls ignored, have zero communication with who is doing the work, and have them make their own decisions as to how YOUR items come out.... then this is your place.
