When walking in you wear a mask and get an associate and the fun begins they grab whatever cup size you want and put in the candies for you. Which is great because now you don't have to worry about everyone touching all the scoop handles and candy. We chose quite a few and saw we were close to the top but the employee encouraged us to go all the way to the top. We also found some really unique popcorn flavours and bought a bag as well. The candies tasted great but how can you go wrong with sugar !

Stepping into the front door is an immediate flashback to an older time. I was initially brought to Chez BonBon on my search for Stillwell Humbugs. Unfortunately when i went, I was informed that they have not had Stillwells for over a year. They have instead a mass produced variety. Still, not a problem as I suddenly found many other candies and sweets that I can remember from my youth or from my grandmother passing onto me. Glad to know that it is also just a 5 minute drive from my place - I will certainly be back.

The owners of the store radiate warmth and offer explanations on any of their products with pride and enthusiasm. Kudos to them for the layout that has a nice hypnotizing effect of being in a candy fantasy land. Many of the candies are imported, mainly from Europe. The ice-cream bites are homemade and delicious. What a treat for the kids who can go two floors up to visit Barbie Expo, a must see free event.

He gave me a beautiful Halloween loot bag. The store is packed with every type of candy you can thick of. You name it he has it. Along with the candy he had a nice selection of ice cream bites but did not try it. We took a nice selection of mixed candy home and when we ate them they were super fresh. We were greeted warmly and offered samples. They are making their own fudge and other confections here and everyone seemed to really be enjoying what they were doing. In addition to all the hand crafted treats, they carry nostalgic candy such as pop rocks, Charleston chews, gold rush gum, etc. There is a true "kid in a candy store" feel here. We bought some fudge and a Whizbang bar both of which were delicious. We had the salted caramel chocolate fudge and one of the candy creators said he made both parts of that flavor and that it was one of his favorites. The caramel was definitely delicious and buttery and the fudge was smooth and perfect. The Whizbang bar is a white chocolate and peanut butter combination that reminded me of a much better version of a treat we made as kids. When I went to upload my pictures I found that Whizbangs hadn't yet been added to Yelp! I then learned they are a very new business and just opened in August of 2025. The story of the business is on the website, and it's always great to see people following a dream. I hope they do well! If I had known they were new and didn't have any pictures yet I would've taken more! I hope others will add more photos soon!
