There is a spacious outdoor terrace, big portion of it is covered and one can safely consume a pint during rainy summer day or hide from stronger sun. The pub offers food, the menu is OK, but don't expect anything else than typical pub food with no real healthy options. Regardless we came for the beers and managed to try most of them. First you can get a taster of the eight beers available on tap. Then you can buy variety of cans for experiments at home, which we did as to celebrate Canada Day in style. Unfortunately my favorite Hazy Camper IPA was not available that day. Farnham also offers few amazing hard seltzers that are worthy trying. The staff is super nice, but a little bit slow. The service and the food are meh and it's WAY WAY overpriced. Our 3 piece family got 2 beers, a veggie burger and two poutines....oh and an apple juice...and with tip it was over $100 Canadian. Entering the warehouse type setting, the brew mechanisms are on the left and the building's nave hosts several picnic benches , some really comfy sofas with side tables at one end, and on the other end, the service bar and kitchen. Bathrooms were at the entrance to the building and they are immaculate. The three servers on duty were charming and friendly, knowing everything about their trade and offerings. And then our last one was the Woodland Wit, a citrusy wheat beer with spices. Beyond that, the space had a very old-fashioned look. Really nice wooden fixtures and a very warm, welcoming vibe. Brasserie Dieu du Ciel was one of them, and it just so happened we were in its vicinity after our Mile End food tour concluded. That being said, we made our way over. While I am not a beer person myself, I'll have a round or two if I'm with a group, and can appreciate a good brewery. My first impression of Dieu du Ciel was just that - the vibes were on walking in. The space is pretty large - kinda separated into semi- compartmentalized spaces with tables throughout. There's not much decor, but medium-toned woods throughout which gave it a sort of upscale feel. They offer a food menu, but we were just here for drinks. They have a really wide selection of beer - again, I'm no connoisseur, but I could tell that the selection was way more than other breweries I've been to. I ended up getting a cider for the first round and a stout for my second round - both very good. Service was great, and overall we enjoyed our time at Dieu du Ciel. Their selection and comfortable setting made it a standout brewery for me out of the ones I've visited in Montreal - I wouldn't hesitate to return.

We wanted to hit some of their top breweries. A friend who had been last year said his favorite was Idletyme so we hit their first. We wandered through the inside areas in to the back area. That's the spot. Underneath the canopy of trees there sits a long wooden bar. The vibe that day was ideal with the sunlight cutting through the leaves. I got their pilsner and it was the best beer of the trip. An excellent subtle tasty golden beverage. We moved on shortly after to the next spot but I had to agree that Idletyme was the spot. I plan to make it back to Stowe again soon, and Idletyme will be one of my first stops.

All come in cans except Heady Topper, which you can grab on draft from a refrigerated beer engine. I have to say, having it on draft is a magical experience. Their aluminum cups are quite cute and you can take them home. Food is from a truck. Jamaican food that can be quite overwhelming with salt and spice if you're not careful. The potatoes were especially good. They hold events on their website including Boogie Bingo which we attended on Thursday night. Great host with a very dry sense of humor. The brewery is on the outskirts of town. It is an attractive facility situated on a large property with picturesque views. It was a beautiful day and they have lots of outdoor activities (corn hole, frisbee golf, etc) so there were people everywhere! This is a family friendly brewery and there were lots of kids running around. What a great vibe! I had a hand pulled Heady Topper. The brewery is the only place on the planet you can get Heady Topper hand pulled. It was worth the trip. My wife had a can of Light. I should note that other than Heady Topper everything comes in a can. No draft options which also means no tasting flights. I found that odd, but I get it. Not a big deal and it won't impact my rating. If you are in the area you might want to check this place out.
