Inside this former church is the now present regional museum of Valladolid. It covers the history of the prehistory people to present day. There are over a dozen small exhibits ranging from local aquatic life, to maize and tools used by the indigenous, to murals depicting the political development of the modern era. In my opinion, the museum would be of more appeal to history buffs versus casual tourists. I personally found it enjoyable and the staff were very accommodating and helpful.
