Been wanting to visit this place since they opened but wanted to wait for some of the "hype" to die down so it wouldn't be sooo busy when we visited. I'm very happen with my decision. This place was cool. Super fun photo opportunities! They are able to sell 100 tickets per hour time slot and I can't even imagine what the wait time would be with that many people in it! Luckily you can go online to buy tickets and it will show you how many are sold for that specific time slot. It's a little spendy but it did take us about an hour to go through so it seemed worth it to me. My biggest tips are to take your time going through each of the exhibits and utilize the staff to take photos (or a bring a tripod)! They have a free locker you can use to store your stuff while you explore too so that is nice! We had a lot of fun!

This was a fun activity to try out at MOA! Everyone working there was super nice and helpful. They have illusion experts that can help with finding the right spots to stand to set up your photos. I'd definitely recommend that if you're confused like we were with some of the illusions. My only wish is that there were more illusions here! It took 4 of us 30 minutes to go through it all and take pictures everywhere.

Fun way to spend an hour at the mall of America

We just got off a flight and this is the first thing we chose to do at the mall of America, it's a real mind bender and it was enjoyable. It is about a 30 minute to 1 hour thing. Very good dating activity It's good for adults and kids. Lots of pictures taking opportunities a little expensive but you know it's an experience. Scott, the manager was able to explain some of the exhibits and more detail which made our visit richer.

Great for a family indoor experience, not worth the $24 entry fee in my opinion, but fun to check out one time. Took about 45 minutes to get through everything if you take your time. Lots of kids/families so be patient waiting to look at the illusions. LOTS of cool photo opts.

I have been wanting to come to this place for a while and figured it probably was like some of the other attractions at the mall "a tourist trap." But I was proven wrong! This is such a fun spot to come to!! Prepare to take lots of pictures! You are encouraged to touch and interact with all of the different exhibits! Just no running! Spent just over an hour inside and you are allowed to go back to any of the exhibits you want as many times as you want. My kids loved this place and I wish it was just a little bit bigger to keep the fun going! Definitely a fun spot! Worth the visit!

My daughter and husband enjoyed this activity but we all felt underwhelmed by how much there is to do and see here. We spent time at every display and the whole activity took us 26 minutes. It cost just over $80 for 2 adults and 1 child. The activity made both of us adults queasy by the end. We felt back to normal about an hour after we left. We would recommend to a friend if they had a coupon .

Worth the visit!!! Very cool illusions and the staff was so kind and helpful!!! I was there alone so they took some pictures for me, which I'm grateful for!

Located inside the Mall of America on the second floor where Zara and H&M is. Had a really good time here with the kids. It's very interactive and interesting to experience the illusion itself. The infinity stair was probably the scariest one for the kids since they were afraid of falling ha. Be prepared to have tons of fun and laughs. It's also great that they have signs to let you know where to take the best photo to truly get the best experience for each illusions. Staff will come around to show you how some illusion works and help take photos if needed. At the end, you can check out the little gift shop. And if you leave a review, you can get a sticker at the front for free.

Literally just finished with The Museum of Illusions and I had so much fun here! Set aside about an hour or more to really take your time and experience all the museum has to offer. The dodecahedron "looking into infinity" was my favorite exhibit of the entire museum, but there's so many cool things in here! $24.00 is totally worth it, even though the mall makes them tack on an extra "processing fee" even when buying in person. A word of advice, don't come here if you're hungover.

Such a fun experience! The illusions are surreal and it's so easy to become immersed in the exhibits! Fun for all ages we had 3-73 year olds. You can easily spend 60-90 minutes in here. I also grabbed a fun brain teaser for my problem solving husband at the end.

    Rachel W.

Super fun exhibit! There are a lot of opportunities for photo ops and it's very interactive, but they also describe all the scientific principles of illusion making it both fun and educational. A bit over priced, but not a waste of money as long as you know what you're getting yourself into. Also, you get a free sticker at the end if you place a review (:

The inside is beautiful and made for a really nice dining experience. We started with the Eichten's cheese curds, and they were excellent. They were soft on the inside, some had a great cheese pull, and the spicy dipping sauce paired really well with them. I ordered the Flat Iron Frites. The steak was seasoned well, cooked nicely, and didn't have much fat, which I appreciated. The fries were crispy and came with house-made ketchup. I usually don't even like ketchup, but this one was actually really good. My partner ordered the deviled eggs as his appetizer, and he enjoyed them so much he finished them in no time. For dessert, we had the Strawberry Shortcake Crème Brûlée, and it was fantastic. I've never had crème brûlée like that before. It was a unique twist on a classic dessert and ended the meal perfectly. The only small downside was that the complimentary water tasted clean and fresh. But it was warm instead of cold. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and service made for a great experience, and I'd happily return. Glad i was able to cross this one off of my list.

During my stay, I enjoyed breakfast, the bison empanadas, ice cream, margaritas, and espresso martinis, everything was delicious and well prepared. Many hotel bars are known more for their drinks than their food, but this one exceeded my expectations in every way. The quality of both the food and beverages was outstanding, and the service was great as well. I would highly recommend stopping by whether you're staying at the hotel or just looking for a great place to eat and enjoy a cocktail. Can't forget the ambience! It was great.

Thank goodness the HVAC unit was working. The next morning, a lot of people were waiting for the elevator. Again, only one elevator working. I believe the maintenance guy's name was Aldo. He kindly guided us to the service elevator and went with us down to the lobby. Awesome service. Thank you. With the hotel only having one elevator working, esp with a home hockey game going on in addition the the American Legion Auxiliary hosting a leadership training course today, it was a doozy trying to get to our rooms. The food was great during the seminar, and the service at the bar was great. Thank you. The final night there, I did go down to order dinner (supper), and ordered "rooted vegetable farrotto", but what I got wasn't was described on the menu because it was supposed to have butternut squash, sweet potatoes, parsnips, red onion, kale, and Italian faro, but there were peas and carrots, no kale or parsnips, and I wasn't sure if the other orange square was the squash or sweet potato in addition to the carrots. The waiter returned it for me and I ordered the roasted rooted vegetables, which was what I originally wanted, but saw the other dish listing faro and Parmesan. The other dish was way better because I could see all the ingredients listed. Thank you, Hyatt. The bed was hard on both nights. I was tossing and turning and could only stay on one side before my hip would hurt. Customer service and food were great/good, but overall stay was not. Sorry Hyatt. I tried to give a positive review.

It benefits from the mall offerings for food and entertainment if your meeting crosses the lunch hour. From a mall planning perspective, it was space that was not really in use for much so why not turn it into something useable and revenue generating? It is a nice, modern, bright space that has good AV capability and space for about 150 people comfortably. Given that, it meets the basic requirements for holding a meeting/conference but it has several quirky things that limit its utility. Being within a busy mall, parking can be an issue especially if your meeting is occurring on a day when the mall traffic is expected to be heavy. The closest parking ramp is the one between Macy's and Nordstrom's. Use the first floor West Entrance, walk straight ahead into the theme park and it is to your right 1 flight of stairs up. It sounds easier than it is, especially if the parking ramp is full, you may end up parking in a totally different area resulting in you being quite a ways away. I do notice that in this particular parking ramp, there are reserved spaces for almost every other type of venue except the conference center. (There are reserved spaces for package pickup, Uber pickup, medical clinic use, etc. but no reserved spaces for the conference center.) This can limit its ease of accessibility. Another odd quirk is that the conference room itself is an odd "L" shape which limits sight lines when in the audience. The room accommodates for this by putting large video screens on the side walls so that the content can be seen by everyone in the room so that is a unique way to deal with the visual obstacles in the room but the overall feel of the room is that it is somewhat broken up because if you sit deep in 1 end of the "L", you cannot see the other side. Another oddity that is quite entertaining but is actually a distraction is that the entry to the conference room (which is the back of the conference room) is floor to ceiling glass. This gives the speaker a commanding view of the theme park and contributes to the brightness and airy feeling of the space. However, as a speaker, you are acutely aware of every roller coaster that roars by because they do so about 10 feet outside the windows. Very thrilling and entertaining but also quite distracting as it occurs every 3-4 minutes. Finally, the noise level from the theme park is loud. The entry/exit is not protected with a double door or some type of entryway receiving room so the doors are the only thing that stand between the actual conference room and the theme park. This means that if anyone comes in or leaves during the middle of a presentation, the full sound and kiddy screams from the rides enters the meeting. Not cool as the audience then can't hear what the speaker is saying and the speaker has an immediate distraction during their talk (not to mention that it pretty much outs anyone trying to enter or exit quietly in the middle of the presentation). Overall, I really like the space and some aspects of the concept but it needs to fix the parking and sound issues for sure if it wants to be considered as a seriously desirable space for large meetings and conferences.
