    Claw machine

Very fun and neat claw machine store. It has a vibrant feel to it and the price of each game was a little pricey for me but if you don't mind it then, play away! The prizes are very cute and unique. It is very kid and family friendly and the area that it is in has a lot of traffic so be careful if you leave and enter the parking lot. I would highly recommend if you have not already been here.

Claw Land is just as it sounds. It's not a big place, but there are probably 20+ claw machines. We only won one item, so that was a little disappointing for the kids. We did notice that the staff made sure all of the very young kids walked out with a small gift. It's a unique place worth a visit.

We saw this shop from the road and stopped because it looked so fun. The inside is bright and fun, but not loud like other arcades. Each machine is 1 token and tokens are purchased in bundles. The machines were challenging, but not impossible. We each walked out with a prize. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. This is a fun place to bring a date or kids. There was a mix of small families and teens/young adults on dates. I will be back.

What a fun place. We found this place on google and had to check it out. There are quite a few places like this in Toronto, but this is the first we have seen in the Midwest. We traveled from Chicago to Minneapolis for Spring Break. The place is located in a small plaza. It's bright, clean and fun for kids. What makes it unique from other places is that the machines actually grab the plushies and you can trade up for bigger prizes. The owner was really nice and attentive. I recommend checking this place out! Your kids will love it!

Love the vibes there and how nice the workers there were. They were still able to help us at the last 10 minutes before they were closed. The kids were happy with they were able to win, thank you Claw Land. We are definitely coming back.

    Prizes

This is the best place in town. It's so easy to win. Only $1 a play. You can either take home your nice prizes like pokemon or upgrade. It's so fun. The employees will fluff the machines sometimes & are super kind.

Upon further investigation, I learned how it all works post speaking with the staff member. First off, the pinball exterior machines are ran by a totally different company than Starcade and all those machines are .25 cents each. Starcade is stucked inside the former giant main restaurant of Keg and Case which offers unlimited gaming for $20. All the machines are set to free play after you pay the fee. There is a bar serving basic snacks such as chips, pizza and on tap local sodas. The liquor license was just recently obtained and the staff seems to think this will get rolling out within the next few months. I'm not a gamer, yet I can tell you lots of games exist vs. just pinball like the exterior. Inside Starcade, you will find both a main level and upstairs (where the former brewery was). It's dark, there are fun twinkle lights and LED signs. Starcade used to be located within Rosedale Mall so come give a warm welcome to them as they lay roots in Saint Paul! I look forward to returning and trying some games. It has a Can Can Wonderland feel but less complex. I'm very glad the building is getting used as it's a beautiful venue. Enjoy!

All entrants pay an admission fee (kids under 5 years are free), and all video games, kids rides, and older-style games are free to play. Mini golf and some other activities are Ala carte. There is street parking and an underground parking lot, but, on weekends, parking can be tough to find. There is a cafe to purchase food. Options are flatbreads, baskets, tacos, and more. The food quality is pretty good, but pricey. I get it. The place probably has large overhead costs, so a business needs to make its margins. There is also a beverage wall with various kinds of drinks (mostly-all (?) alcoholic), which are self-pour. I forgot to take photos. Trust me when I say the place is very unique and is great to check out. Pros: - Great place to bring kids - The older-style games are very amusing Cons: - Food is on the pricier side
