Do not get your guitar repaired here. I had a buzz on the high e on my strat. It's got the wilkinson nut on it and I couldn't figure it out. Would I have taken a piece of razor blade and stuck it under the nut and not told the customer.... Me! Probably not. There used to be a ton of places on the island just like this guy. Do yourself a favor and find a good guitar tech. Or better yet encourage him to take a course at 5 Towns college and do the right thing. read more

Very friendly staff and had what I needed at a reasonable price. They didn't jump on me the moment I walked in the store and try to sell me ok a bunch of things I didn't need like what happens every time I go into a guitar center. I would shop here again. read more

I needed to buy a bunch of music equipment off of my husbands wish list for Christmas. I am not very knowledgeable with music equipment but the sales lady, Holly, was so helpful! She was patient and kind, explaining what models to get and why, not pushing the super expensive equipment if it was not necessary. Thanks to Holly my husband totally loved all of his gifts!!! Excellent service on buying our brand new high quality clarinet. Manager able to set up amazing experience for my son. We are not uneducated music people (entire family plays different instruments-community bands etc) Onofrio an excellent manager. A real group of musicians who can help get what you need and want. Again, repair here great as clarinet will need annual tune ups. Okay.. I know time to bring in my flute! Thanks again to a GREAT GROUP OF MUSICIANS! read more

Not a bad store, but the fact that they advertise themselves as Long Island largest independent music store is a bit perplexing. Granted the place looks big from outside, but once you are inside it is quite small. read more

Haven't been to this store since they changed owners. Biggest problem before was there customer service, like the rest of the posts here say. Seems better now. Chris helped me find new guitar strings, I've only played for a year teaching myself. I'll probably go back again read more
