I had an extremely frustrating experience with the Music & Arts store in Corona and would not…read morerecommend them for instrument repairs. I brought in my kid's clarinet for a simple repair and was told it would be sent to Anaheim with an estimate in about a week. Weeks went by with no updates, and every time I called, the staff kept blaming internal delays and paperwork issues. It took nearly four weeks for the instrument to finally return--and it still wasn't repaired. Communication was disorganized at every step, and no one seemed to take responsibility. To make matters worse, I was charged another rental fee even though I had returned the instrument about a week before the four-week due date. When I raised the issue, the store manager told me to call customer service myself, and it turned out their system never properly processed my return. This was a complete waste of time, with poor communication, constant delays, and billing problems that the store should have handled. If you need a reliable instrument repair or rental, avoid this location.

I called costumer service, I sent my return receipt which has all the details of my return. I was told they can't locate the item. It looks like the rental was lost or misplaced by employees. I don't know what happened to the item after it was returned but I have my proof of my return and it's still not enough. I should not be liable for whatever happened to the rental after it was returned. I file a claim with my bank (pending). Now I am being told I can be sent to collections if the issue is not solved. But what is the issue? And how can I solve it? It looks like a returned receipt with all the details is not enough.

Make sure to set yourself up with a keyboard ahead of time, don't wait till after class starts to have something to practice on. I bought the cheapest one they had at best buy for about $110. We have been very happy clients of Kiddo for over seven years. My eldest and youngest take piano…read morelessons and my middle child does voice and guitar. Kiddo is an establishment which prides itself in building strong foundational music education. They don't just want to show kids how to use musical instruments. Their mission runs deeper than that. They foster a profound love and appreciation of music at the fundamental level. Because of Kiddo, my children have a proper musical education which informs many parts of their lives. The front desk staff of Kiddo is so kind and professional and Miss Ashley, the owner, has selected an impressive faculty of teachers and artists who are respectful of the children and excellent at communicating with them. My middle child was born with a natural singing ability but her teachers, Miss Rudie and Miss Vicky, have helped her develop and protect her voice, ensuring she can use and enjoy it well into her later years. She has performed in competitions and recently did an open mic event at another music school and it was clear that her excellent training set her apart from the children of that school. Kiddo takes the abilities of every child seriously and gives them an enduring musical foundation. My youngest and eldest take piano lessons with Miss Fanny who is a warm and exceptionally talented teacher who has brought out the best in my kids. They also have a weekend art program which two of my children are enrolled in. It is a class they look forward to every week and never want to miss. I'm grateful Kiddo, a highly professional and substantial music and art school, exists in our community. Money and time well spent.

I really like working there .they offer a free trial lesson as well . Ask for Mr. Daleread more

She is very patient with me because I am a slow learner, but she helps me advance very quick. her price is really good compared to other teachers, I very strongly recommend her for lessons if you are planning on learning the piano.

I had a very disappointing experience with this instructor and would not recommend her,…read moreparticularly to adult beginners. From our very first session, she made an unsolicited comment about my appearance, remarking that I looked younger than my age -- which felt inappropriate and unprofessional coming from a teacher. Despite clearly communicating that I was a beginner, she assigned me advanced pieces -- including Bach's Prelude -- and told me I was "too old" to be playing beginner songs. This was not only discouraging but completely disregarded where I actually was in my learning journey. I also reached out to let her know I was going through a period of grief and needed a more supportive, stress-free approach to learning. To top it off, she sent -- and then quickly unsent -- a message implying our lessons wouldn't continue, because her teaching style was "too fast" for me and suggested I find another teacher. Beware: the contract includes a no-refund policy, so getting your money back is not an option once you've paid. A good instructor meets students where they are, adapts to their needs, and treats them with respect regardless of age or pace. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of those basic standards. ----- Thank you for your response, Vivian. I want to clarify that you were my 2nd instructor, not my 3rd. I also want to be transparent with readers: I had openly communicated that I was going through a period of grief and asked for a gentler approach to learning. I believe that is a reasonable request, not an "over the top" or "childish" one. As a teacher, meeting students with empathy -- especially during difficult times -- is a fundamental part of the role. Assigning advanced pieces to a self-identified beginner, collecting $450 upfront, and then canceling lessons without offering a refund are practices that potential students deserve to know about. I stand by my review. Every word reflects my honest experience. I am genuinely grateful our lessons ended when they did -- it protected both my peace and my hard-earned money. I wish you well, and I hope future students are treated with the respect and compassion they deserve.
