It has that old-school store vibe, but all the latest and greatest in everything. So much better than buying from a corporation and not seeing where your money goes. Prices are always as low as Musician's Friend or any online retailer. Great selection of used gear in the back room. Service is great because all the employees are actual musicians and not college kids looking for part time jobs like the competition has. Keep the locally owned dream alive! The neck of my bass was bent beyond anything i could fix myself or the truss rod could compensate for. I brought it to Music City hoping they could rescue my bass. Vince did a truly phenomenal job at straightening out the neck again and setting up the bass to perfection. And everything for a real affordable price. It plays as if i have a brandnew bass again and actually seems better than i ever remember this bass feeling or sounding. I am extremely happy I left my bass in their expert hands. This music store is a Buffalo icon. I've been going to see Vince whenever I needed a guitar repaired or set up. The store has a great variety of equipment and sells Rickenbacker, Gretch and G&L. They've got a great selection of acoustic guitars to chose from also. Prices are on par with the big box stores, plus they actually know about the gear they sell.
