Service is great because all the employees are actual musicians and not college kids looking for part time jobs like the competition has. Keep the locally owned dream alive! It has taken me much to long to get this review done! Had Carl come to look at a 1926 player piano…read morethat we inherited. Not good news! It was badly out of tune because of a major issue with the straps that control all the hammers for the 88 keys had rotted and fallen off! There was also a crack 8n 5he sound board. The major components of the player part were in really good condition. We decided that the piano held many cherished family memories and proceeded with the repairs. It took several long 8 hour sessions along with our assistance for the job to be completed. The entire piano was taken apart to access the hammers and sound board. We left plenty of time between sessions for us to refinish all the wood while it was apart. We could not be happier with the finished results! It sounds awesome thanks to Carl and looks good too after all our hard work refinishing along with tips from Carl. He has been back twice to tune and we will hav3 him back yearly to keep the piano in shape. I highly recommend Carl for tuning, repairs and he also gives music lessons. Not only does he provide awesome service but he is a very remarkable person!

Evan is my instructor and he is very patient with my limited piano skills (which was a one -fingered rendition of Do-Re-Mi). I do wish the room that we practiced in was a bit more spacious (it is about the size of a walk in closet ) . After my last two lessons, I was given chords to practice at home on my keyboard (which is a good way of staying fresh and keep the progress going ) . I feel like the previous 2 star reviews here on Yelp are a bit harsh , since the staff has been nothing but friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating (even when I am running late.) He has really helped my son find new styles of music and new artists to explore. They do offer recitals and rock band practice, but my son is pretty introverted so we haven't participated in them yet.
