He knew absolutely nothing about bass guitar strings-or Hoffners. And when he didn't know the answer, he told me that "Any of the strings would work"! This was completely unacceptable! Hoffman only offered a " partial " refund, making me pay $100 for the shipping. $100 to receive and return a defective item. I would never do business like this or with Hoffman again. After looking further at the transaction I noticed the item sent was different than the item advertised. I will be contacting my Better Business Bureau.
