Even though I wasn't buying (I even told them so), they patiently walked me through some different options and discussed the pros and cons of each. Hoffman only offered a " partial " refund, making me pay $100 for the shipping. $100 to receive and return a defective item. I would never do business like this or with Hoffman again. After looking further at the transaction I noticed the item sent was different than the item advertised. I will be contacting my Better Business Bureau.

There were two employees at the front counter when we came in. They didn't look up, didn't great us. We wandered around the store for about 10 minutes trying to find what we came in for, before an employee on his way to somewhere else casually greeted us as he walked by. I had just found one of my items. Then I had questions about trying to find The proper springs for my Hoffner B-Bass guitar. At that time, the only person around was at the front desk. He knew absolutely nothing about bass guitar strings-or Hoffners. And when he didn't know the answer, he told me that "Any of the strings would work"! This was completely unacceptable! Going to buy them from Strings By Mail and won't be visiting this location again.
